We need void gnomes! They should be able to be demon hunters and druids.

That’s the gameplay aspect, and it actually causes pain when they use holy spells.

and you’ll come-up with lore, because you want to deny opportunities for other races to play a class currently limited to 2 races.
listen, i don’t want to argue, i’m just pointing out things i know about, and ask blizzard to add more options. that’s it. you don’t want non-elf demon-hunters? that’s fine, you would’nt have to play’em.
me? i just want more options, and hate how limited we are.

Night elves were lore wise the first azerothian mages. And undead priests have been available since classic.
The lore is easily verifiable to you as well, however, you choose not to do the research, because you want what you want, and that’s it.
Also, you most certainly do want to argue. This topic is fastly becoming spam.
That’s not true. We can and do use the light. It just hurts. But some are willing to make such a sacrifice for faith. The forsaken faith preaches balance least we lose ourselves to the darkness.
The lore is moot when the devs decide to make their changes based on gameplay considerations. Which is how they do it. If the changes they want don’t fit the lore, they just retcon it.

no… no i don’t. i just want more options, and don’t know of any other way letting blizz know that, in a way they’d actually listen to it… not that they read the forums much, but still.

Gameplay doesn’t equal lore, just saying.
It could very easily be explained away like how they did with paladins to allow tauren to become playable for that class. Not all demonhunters need to be Illidari type demonhunters. Troll Shadowhunters very much fit the same theme as demonhunters, and even use the same weapon loadout.

Demon Hunters only being Elves is the main reason I won’t play one. Simply not interested in playing an elf and never have been. For the people so against any change they feel is against lore, maybe stick to Classic. A world that doesn’t evolve and change is a pretty lousy world.

Undead priests make perfect sense. Shadow priests are from the Cult of the Forgotten Shadow and Forsaken canonically can use Light magic, it just hurts them. Hell, the Forsaken faction leader is a Forsaken holy priest.

If/when they come up with a reason for more Demon Hunters to be made.
Then sure, have more races. But just having more races suddenly showing up
when more Demon Hunters are not being made? No thanks.
As for the excuse “Illidan could have made other races”. Yes, he could of.
But he didnt.

I’m sure somewhere down the road they will come with a logical reason like there’s been enough time to pass the knowledge on to other races.
But don’t see this happening anytime soon. May take a few expansions.

That’s your opinion, which you share with a lot of people. The devs seem to see no value in a lot of the game that others play for. The game seems to be designed by and for people who are like, raid loggers or who have never played the game. They don’t care about the world, the story, the lore, and so many other things players play for.
