More Demo buffs when?

Nah. I honestly think I’m done playing demo. They could give it damage buffs for all I care.

It won’t fix this mindset from the devs that it has to be one of the few caster that has to cast all their spells. The devs want to design a fast game and still keep an atrocious caster design that was fine 3 expansions ago.

They don’t get it. You can design your entire game on speedy combat both pve/pvp and force heavy casting mechanic one it. And it starting to dawn on everyone how bad the design is with this force turret set up design.

Unfortunately unless another new experienced dev comes in to update demo. The spec will feel like is 2 expansions too late. Though we got bigger problems since it seems like these guys can’t code to save their life. If players have to be constantly checking to see if the talents are working out of a beta state.

If we had an actual warlock dev that plays the spec in any endgame they’d see how horrendous it is mechanically.

Sadly we don’t, and whoever’s in charge of warlocks uses high end raiders’ opinions to design the class.

Unfortunately for us, high end raiders only view the game through the lens of high end raiding which almost always never translates well into other endgames.

When I look at these forums which are constantly expressing dissatisfaction with different specs in the game and then I see Blizzard post that they are making such and such change based off feedback I’m always in shock. WTF feedback are these people looking at. Unless they are full of crap with them listening to feedback I just can’t see it.

The way I see it they are the designers of the game and ultimately control the end product. But don’t pretend to actually listen or care about player feedback. It just seems shady to me. In my mind this company has some questionable PR tactics where they like to create this illusion of listening to the players and accepting feedback all with the purpose of baiting game subs.

I would prefer if they just kept it real and came clean about them designing the product and that is final not all this fairy tale of them listening to player feedback.

Demo started going down the drain when they decided to remove the so called “peaks and valleys” from the gameplay (based on player feedback of course) essentially making the spec a dot spec and removing any real identity that the spec had. Right now Demo is pretty much a dot spec punching bag in pvp. Wonder who’s feedback they listened to for that one.

Well for me, it just goes back to how many times whomever was trying to change demo kept making questionable changes that even the die hard warlock content creators were left scratching their heads about.

This is going back to DF mid season changes and where the trickling shadowbolt changes started, and just set off the “oh oh” one of the devs wants use to sit and cast lots of shadowbolt for absolutely no reason, and even wanted to halt our core procs so much that we would be casting even more shadowbolts that we are now. Once I see the tier sets bonus, I just knew we were pretty much done unless whomever on that team mindset changes.

Worst part this designer kept failing on their proposed changes that they had to go back on multiple things each time they were trying those changes since S2 of DF. The cores from our dogs should have never been touched to begin. You have to wait 15 secs or so to pass to get core procs from that spell. And changes like that make me immediately believe that our designer didn’t have any idea what they were doing. They didn’t even bother to update the core line that dealt with core proc generation. Immutable hatred has the damage like it’s from season1 df it doesn’t even take into account the new core design. Things like this is why I get frustrated, like cool the dev wanted to forces us to a new design but didn’t even bother to do his homework.

And the idea that we had to be limited of cores procs and made into a heavy caster because we were too fast but they I saw the ideas they had for arcane mages in beta (basically shooting out procs every 2 to 4 secs) or some of the top dps currently and I’m just thinking these guys are just lying.

The entirety of the game has gotten even faster this expansion. Across everything currently.

No one cares about your inflated rating in the meme bracket LMAO

I am literally higher rating than you now in a TENTH of the games played. A TENTH.
I am objectively better than you and I play this game so casually. If you think I shouldn’t be talking about demo, what makes you think you can even start to think about what makes the spec good or bad when you are playing at a lower level than me? Are you okay in the head? I am genuinely asking.

At what point do you start to realize that maybe it’s not the spec that’s the only problem? Bud your 2.4 xp is literally meaningless stop mentioning it. You were never 2k exp if you’re stuck at 1600 now that’s not how it works, mmr inflation is making you a worse player. Is you need help ask questions but please stop pretending like you know what you’re doing if you can’t even break 1600

PvP balance /= PvE balance

Yall play demo in PVP? or play warlock in pvp at all? Actually, who da hell plays PVP in WOW! PVP has been and will always be trash in this game.

Lol @ those recent “buffs” they are planning to release on the 8th.
