More Customization for Dracthyr

Title says is all. List of suggestions for drac customization. They’re all important, I guess. I’m concerned people might get demotivated to play them if more options aren’t added.

1 - Evokers for All Races? :dracthyr_love_animated:

That’s easy. Simply add visages of each race alongside unique dracthyr customization. Technically, they’re still dracs.

Those visages could come from questlines, requiring a character of that race at lvl X, be available through Race Change, etc. Rules maybe vary, but I think it is the best idea.

Personally, I think Evokers should always be dragons (or at least individuals who become dragons).

2 - Dracthyr and New Classes :dracthyr_blob_dance_animated:

I don’t know which classes will be available in near future, but Dracs could have all kinds of magic expressed in their bodies to reflect those class concepts.

Here are some ideas for each class:

  • Demonic traits for locks and DHs
  • Undead wyrm options because DKs. Magma, frost, rotten, etc, anything goes.
  • Tree branches for horns, etc, perhaps Nightmare themed ones, because druids.
  • “Elune-y” stuff.
  • Primalist/elemental traits because shamans.
  • More arcane, fire and frost options because mages and such. Although, shamanic options might get that covered.
  • Void/light stuff for Priests/Paladins.
  • Sarkareth Void model (I’m sure whoever likes bulky models will like that one)

3 - Transmog :dracthyr_comfy_sip:

This one feels a bit complicated.

I don’t know if the model will work well with mogs, but any additional pieces, like boots and gloves, would already help a lot.

Honestly, as long as the option to hide everything is still there, I don’t think it could go wrong to enable mogs on dracthyr’s dragon form. I mean, just look at Worgen, Tauren, etc.

What I can say for sure is this: the less mog options there are, the more customization there should be to make up for it.

4 - More Options :dracthyr_hehe:

Nothing special about these. Just more options on what we have.

Snouts: More snouts and face/skull options could be added. I’m also interested in additional snouts: horn, barbed, chin horn, etc. Think about the ‘Horned’, ‘Rhino’, ‘Barbed’, and ‘Shimada’ snouts, but imagine these options available to all snouts.

Body Types: Need more. Specially the kind which increases hip/leg size. The current options lean too much into ‘masculine’, with little to nothing being ‘feminine’. Besides, I’m sure stronger looking variations will please some people.

Horns: Need more. Larger coiled horns, preferably.

Fur: Beards, mane/hair-like, tail, chest, etc. All Dragonriding mounts got these, so I don’t get why dracs didn’t. This might help make their heads look better, too.

Feathers: Just like above, options for many areas, but feathered wing options could also be interesting.

Color & Tints: Definitely could use more. More colors for horns, scales, membranes, armor, etc. The “neon” blue horn looks cool, more colors such as this one would be nice. While we are at it, allow us to customize different areas separately.

Armor type 1 & 2: I don’t understand why this exists. The armor pieces hidden behind this option should simply be added to their respective.

I guess that covers most possibilities? :dracthyr_sweat:

Any ideas?

Just keep the dragon eyes. They don’t need horns etc. It would save quite a lot of time.

It looks ridiculous to give us one half of two races for visage. So all races would be a big improvement, even without the dragon customizations.

Well, turning off horns is already an options, so we’re good on that one.

It would, right? I don’t know how viable it is, but I really would like at least a couple more.

Dracthyr got plenty of customizations. Moreso than anyone. We shouldn’t be anywhere in line to get more.

The race with by far the most customization isn’t getting that much more that soon. If anything, they’ll open up Tmogs some.

Being at to transmog would be nice. I don’t want to go into human form to see transmogs on my character. I do understand it is an issue of character mapping but going forward Blizzard could make cosmetic gear for Dracthyr so it is not armor or naked all the time.

Only if they separate lizard transmog from visage transmog. Because I despise how armor looks in lizard form and I’m not going naked in Visage form just to not show armor as a lizard.

Yea, but with the lack of mogs and the kind of customization dracs got, the result is a load of bad combinations with a handful interesting ones.

I doubt they would that, the most I can see them doing it making so you don’t see transmog outside of Visage. I want to dress up my dragon lady, I already have a very pretty human lady I dress up. Some nice pants, a few shirts, some glasses I don’t want much.

I highly disagree.

Then I advocate against full transmog on Dracthyr. It’s bad enough shoulders and belts look stupid.

This should be done right away.
