I dunno, corruption is pretty much a mandatory sim to be honest.
Depends what you want out of complexity, something you can control? Something you can work out reasonably? Or just a lot of levers that you still habe to sim?
Honestly though I do miss hit, expertise and reforging. But I don’t think corruption isn’t complex in the terms that it is difficult to work out it’s value. (I have a tier 1 corruption ring ilvl 410 that outperforms all heroic raid drops. And no, it’s not inifite stars, it’s some haste proc)
I just feel that more complexity is inherently good. Hopefully Shadowlands can plumb the depths of complex gearing so that it can overshadow class skill.
Lol.
Yeah, I got 420 corrupted bracers last night with the crit bonus. Was a good job I simmed them though because they are heaps better than both my 440 corrupted and 460 corrupted bracers lol.
I don’t know, I feel like some complexity is good but I do feel like there is also bad or needless complexity.
I’d personally for example not want to continue to see such large degrees of power given as RNG bonuses as it does devalur player skill.
I think gear complexity should be a player/class skill in itself but I don’t believe it should actually trump mechanical skill.
If you are similar geared and better skilled than the other person than you should perform better.
Not you are similarly geared and better skilled but player B happens to have an infinite stars trait and by default out dps you by 10k whilst still being bad.
Yes. WoW was successsful because it was the easy casual game. They have upgraded the raid mechanics and requirements and the majority of wow boomers can’t handle it.
So much so that they’d rather play a 15 year old game and spam 111122111.
