More class fantasies via Hero Specs

Classes that are tied into the world and setting and not just “generic fantasy class” are great.

Not it means offering a weak class fantasy. My position is that the name of the class is the most important thing, because it’s your first chance to hook players.

Of course it’s better if it’s tied to the lore of your world. Maybe your Paladins use fire. Maybe your Warlocks consume copious amounts of spice. But it’s best when you can connect it to the historical meaning of those terms.

This is a big struggle with sci-rpgs, the class fantasies they offer are never as strong or recognizable as fantasy ones.

housing.

Ah yes, another bait feature that if blizzard were to implement they would find crickets.

Idk what this obsession is with games with putting every possible thing in their game. “oh we need a gardening simulator. And a way to customize your car. And a way for the player to create their own game that has it’s own gardening simulator.”

Just make a good game. Minigames aren’t going to sell a game to somebody who isn’t already playing it.
