I don’t think anyone at Blizzard is paying this forum any kind of attention. Nobody wants to heal in pvp because the damage is just so crazy. I dont think buffing the hardest hitting classes is the answer to the problems in this game. BM hunters getting a flat 25% buff to Kill Command, Barbed Shot, Serpent Sting, 100% damage buff to Chackram, 50% to Cobra Shot, and stomp damage by 25%… I stopped reading the notes after I read this silly crap.
… Fellas over at Blizzard, where tf are you getting these crazy numbers? This games about to get so much worse. And who tf though making Ret a ranged melee class was a bright idea?! Rets are basically Kayle from League of Legends now.
Very simply they just don’t really care about healers.
The only reason they even acknowledged healers existed and you know had issues was only because the dps were complaining that there was not enough of them.
They only do what dps players want cause dps players make up like 90% of the playerbase
So what im getting from that is that they are nerfing a “OVERPOWERED” hunter bow literally states its op and so to make up for that they buffed their entire toolkit by 20% to make them overpowered baseline.
So basically nothing changed they’ll just be broken because of 1 thing now instead of the other
20% on almost all their damage abilities vs a buff that increased pets melee attack speed.
It says they want the auto shot damage to stay the same
24% attack speed buff does sound pretty busted though.
And its on a bow that not very many hunters have anyway so they are just buffing the whole spec to make up for a nerf on a bow that not very many had to begin with?
This is a read between the lines situation for those of you with the mental prowess of a door knob. Most pvp hunters don’t have the 430 bow you are speaking of. instead, every hunter will be buffed beyond belief. The point wasn’t even about hunters specifically. Hunter was just an example of the problem. This isn’t a pve issue we’re talking about. damage across the board is way too high. everybody knows this. We’re not talking about some alien concept thats new to anybody. All damage in this game is way too high.
Edit: If this is meant to be a buff strictly in raids, then nvm however, the notes say nothing of this.
To be fair the bow is pretty nerfed in PvP, but still affective for BM. But not the same as in PvE. But again, this post they made is about the PvE side of things, I would suspect that these changes will most likely affect PvE only once they go live.
Well its increased every xpac and dps players just assume this should be the new normal and anytime it ever gets slowed down even a little bit they say “oh my goooood my class feels so clunky”

I mean sometimes damage goes up, and sometimes numbers go up. But there were a lot of complaints in WoD, Legion and BfA how things wouldn’t die. And no just because of classes’ survivability. Healing had to do with it.
