More Bag Slots instead of more bag space

Title says it all.

Since Vanilla, the number of bag slots has always remained the same.
Has the team ever considered adding more slots instead of bags with an absurd amount of space.

They did, twice. For everyone, if you link an authenticator to a phone number, you get +4 slots. For Vulpera, the base backpack space gets doubled.

(EDIT: I can’t read. Thought this was about the base backpack, and not the actual equip slots)

I support this. My main is a tailor and deep sea bag market flooding messed my bag mama hustle up. Delete deep sea bags. They’re too cheap for the amount of space they have. Wait what we were talking about?

I’d like this too :smiley: 32 slot bags are looking a bit honka chonka and I think it would be cute to have like 10 bags for specific items and sets and whatnot.

I really don’t think we need more bag spaces, we just need Blizzard to change their behaviors so far as constantly making us carry dozens of stupid items around all of the time, there’s just so much bloat in that regard.

First thing i’d do is make it so that quest items no longer take up a bag space and if they did for some reason, make them vanish when the quest is over!! I must have a dozen things in my bags that i’m not 100% sure if i can get rid of or not but they could be from 2 year old quests, who knows lol

Not Bag spaces…We already have bags with 30+ slots lol

I’m talking about actual Bag slots.
Atm you have four bags and a backpack.

Why not be able to equip six bags and a backpack??
Meaning adding two bag slots.

That was kinda the point of my reply, i don’t think we need more spaces for storage, Blizzard needs to stop constantly making us carry junk around, convert a bunch of stuff to toys, get rid of the bloat and make quest stuff vanish when the quests are over and we’d have less storage issues.

This would be cool for like a mount that has 4 bag slots that you can equip with bags and only access when you are on the mount. Just don’t make it cost like 8 million gold.

Would be nice if there was an option similar to what ESO has - they provide the ability to players who subscribe to make use of a basically limitless material storage. I’ve never seen it filled up. Your bags are just for carrying general stuff around in and they can be increased in size quite a bit. Although their storage systems are different, a bottomless mat storage system is fab. Doubt Blizzard would ever do it though, the servers would probably implode. However, perhaps an edited version would be good - perhaps something very pricey to obtain using some form of currency not gold that has, say, a 1000 unit material storage. That would be very handy.

Or a method that automatically sends mats to the material storage tab on your bank wherever you are.
