Hello - I’ve been a long time arena player and used to love doing 5’s back in wrath. Why aren’t there any modes that cater to the in between player groups of arena and battlegrounds?
Could you bring a 4v4 mode? I currently have 3 buddies I love doing arena with but we always have to sub one of us out to do competitive 3’s. When pushing glad on multiple toons this creates a time split problem where we have to take turns playing within our friend group. Not fun. I stopped playing the game really because of it. I’d love to jump back in this wonderful game but just can’t because we can only play 3’s.
5’s back in the day was a blasty blast. It was crazy, yes, but a controlled madness that was so much fun to me and my buddies. Does adding a 4v4 mode create a problem within the community/game?
I’ve often thought this would be a great PvP Brawl to add to test it out. My guess is that it’d be stuck in a tough spot. 1 heal 3 DPS would likely feel zergishly fast and anything that rushes down healers would be near impossible to stop, even with an extra DPS to help peel goes. 2 heals 2 DPS would likely feel very slow - 3s games already can go on for quite a while - imagine no added DPS but that Owlplay you faced now has a monk to go with the sham. Kills would feel near impossible. Would be fun to mess around with but would be in such a rough balancing spot since each healer is specifically balanced in PvP to heal roughly 2-2.5 DPS.
not sure why they removed 5s. got 2k in it a while ago. maybe removed cause not as many people qued them? i found them to be chaotic fun. especially while drunk and doing them for laughs with friends
Yea Saydar makes some good points about pacing. Maybe they just need to bring back 5’s honestly. Was so much fun back in the day.
6v6 objective based RBGs with soloqueue.
Make it happen.
Also would be cool if you could queue for it as a 3s team and get paired with another 3s and be like “Oh word, you’re RMD? We’re MLPal so let’s figure this out”

Basically - Granted this isn’t a max toon.
But I remember in Warlords, all the multi boxers that would do 5s. Never really fun either way with people to coordiante 4 other personalities that really didn’t mesh well either.
