Still slinging along as best I can. As I start getting into higher keys (8’s+ has been fine, will get into 10s and such soon enough) now, I’m finding myself ok on ST and WAY BEHIND on AOE when compared with the Ret Pallys I ran with.
Some additional feedback:
- Clearcasting doesn’t proc enough. You get some smooth runs, sure, but the droughts are just killers, totally unfun.
- Splinters need to do a bit more damage. A minor 3-5% boost would be a good measure, and make them more impactful.
- Aethervision is cool, except it’s not. I love the idea, use my 2 blasts for the 2 stacks of precision and then get a big hit and charge reset from the next barrage. Cool! Trouble is, you want me to do much more with barrage than just use it as a reset. It’s also got like 4 modifying talents that make it a killer (especially when enemy is low health), and losing the 20-30% increase damage from precision is a tragedy at times. For the most part, I admit, I just play as intended (because I’m lazy I guess), but there is an obvious reason to play it “broken” and playing it broken sucks, it’s not smooth, it’s awkward, it’s a question mark…oh and the current 4-piece has an almost identical purpose that also overlaps and make me want to hit barrage even if not benefiting from precision, it’s just a hot mess right now.
- Supernova. Already mentioned elsewhere, but make the Supernova modifier in the hero tree worth taking (make it reset supernova when fully charged…the end)
