Moratorium on Multi-Boxers in SL

I love their craziness in that thinking. MBing BAD, but it’s alright if I price gouge.

WHAT?!?!?!?!

And they say the MBing community does nothing but mental gymnastics?

Those that are active against the MBing community are a weird bunch, but I’m sure they feel the same way about the MBing community.

They just need to put a price cap on profession materials so all the farmers and botters in this thread can’t rip off players on the AH. I’ll be sure to spam them in GD like these MB hate threads. :innocent:

This kinda crap makes me lose faith in people…

Well, the next time you have to deal with this, remember there’s at least one random human out there that understands you are just having fun.

Like I am.

:woman_shrugging: :woman_shrugging: :man_shrugging:

Im a multiboxer and i box around 70-80hrs a week, Now to those of you who report us i hope you know that for every false report against you its a strike against your account. When you report a boxxer for botting and they are proven not a bot its a strike against you. They have started suspending players for false reporting.
We dont hurt the economy at all. Actually the normal player base does with there gouging. We make it affordable. I farm cloth not herbs or ore etc and you need to understand that gouging the way you do hurts the economy as alot of the player base cannot afford to craft or purchase gear or mounts.
So in the end keep doing your QQ. Us boxxers love feeding on your tears.

It is, in fact, very weird to have such a hang up on how someone else plays a video game. Most players rarely see boxers with over 5 accounts since it’s decently rare. If they do see someone with more accounts it’s rare to see many of them. They make it out like this is some huge thing and is destroying the game. lol

The healthiest tears are the tears from crashing markets on the AH though, they have the most nutrients.

:grimacing: I do the opposite, I stop playing as efficiently and make mistakes so I look like a normal bad player who just happens to be multiboxing lol.

You’re a nice guy. I get a kick out of trolling them and making them think I’m a bot. lol

I giggle when I see them say stuff like, “I’m just trying to raise awareness of the issue!”

I’m thinking to myself, “This so called issue you speak of, they have been aware of it for 15 years now? You’re not adding anything new that wasn’t already discussed before.”

I just report every multiboxer I see and let Blizzard sort it out. Yeah, enjoy the ban.

I’ve yet to come across a suspension. Maybe they actually ban them because I report them with cheating from Blizzard CoC.

maybe your actually catching bots. And if so good for you.

The real botters and exploiters appreciate your hard work that helps to let them slip through the cracks, keep up the good work by clogging up the system with nonsense!

They aren’t gonna ban actual multiboxers. When they do it always gets reversed with an apology. You’re just clogging up the system and keeping bots in the game longer.

I never understood that mentality. We know it’s not against the rul;es. Yet we are going to report you. So instead of them being able to focus on actual rule breakers. Let’s just waste their time with false flags.

Odd…

Depending on how often you do this, If I worked for Blizzard I’d likely just route all your reports to the trash  It’s that whole crying wolf thing.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they actualyl did that. Be like, “This person just wastes our time with false flagging people” click all reports now get circle filed.

There use to be GM’s that would look for signs of botting (vs MB) in-game. This is probably why I don’t report much since I assume there are Blizz people actively looking for this in-game (though they may have been laid off).

I think people don’t know the difference between MB and botting because they don’t watch beyond someone with 2+ toons following them. I notice MB’s while playing and don’t have an issue with it typically unless they are camping an area I need to finish a quest or for leveling. Even then it has to be more than 5 and the mobs I need have to be turning grey for me to report. Otherwise I may troll them for a few minutes and then go on about my business.

Yep, this is it, in a nutshell. So what they don’t understand, they instantly assume will harm them. Quite caveman, in a way. Shouldn’t be a thing in 2020.

Anyway, yeah. Though I’ve never personally been impacted by one, I can see how those bot-streams of a hundred toons taking over a leveling spot would be really irritating. Even then, I’d just RCR one and move on if I had to. Level somewhere else or try a different time of day.

But … I’ve never been negatively impacted by multiboxers either. Not while leveling up, not while farming gold - literally never, in fifteen years. They get to a node first, then I get to a node first, and most of the time we both loot the node.

They get a quest mob, I get a quest mob. We both get a quest mob. K.

Flip-side of being a boxer-hater, I remember the first time I ran into a multiboxer, and I was in awe over how the five toons moved together and stuff. This was, I dunno, BC? I thought it was super cool. I still kinda do - it just looks neat.

seems pretty simple. Precisely what blues have indicated from what I read.
