WoWhead just posted an article about all the unique weapon mogs you can get in remix.
Was this an oversight to not add them onto the bronze vendors as arsenals like they did with the armor ensembles? Or was this meant to be a grind where you’d need several classes if you wanted to collect them all?
Of course, no one NEEDS all of them, but it would be nice if they worked like the armor ensembles.
They are there. You have to get the achievement to be able to purchase them, but once you have you can buy them on any character. I got the last of them just today. 3000 bronze a pop.
Oh wait, I thought you meant the class ones. My bad.
I noticed I seemed to continue to be getting a trickle of new weapon appearances dropping in the open world even after I’d bought everything that could be bought.
Unfortunately I guess I’ll miss out on some since I’m only playing one character in remix.
The drops are super easy to get, though. I have four Remix characters, only one did any sort of questing, and I’ve got all of those already. All I did was daily queues for dungeons, scenarios and LFR.
I know. And the bottom one is new. There’s also a new 2h axe, 1h sword, 1h mace, a shield. That’s all the definite new ones I saw on a quick scan across my paladin’s collection. I’ve probably gotten some other things on other classes. I’ve leveled 5 timerunners so far
Take Wallwatcher’s Poleaxe as just one from this list, drops off mobs in Townlong Steppes. According to WoWhead, drop rates ranges from 0.03 to 0.01%. I’ve spent several hours there already, questing and killing mobs, and haven’t seen it. I would not call that super easy to get.
Keep in mind, Wowhead droprates are extremely wrong. People actually have to sign up and submit this information. The entire playerbase isn’t doing this.
Maybe so. That doesn’t negate the fact I’ve spent several hours there already, questing and killing mobs, and haven’t seen it. And this is for just one of the items on this list.
I got a cool wavy green Pandaren sword that I’d never seen before, and I immediately knew it was an item that was added just for remix. (I think there were other color variants of this item, first time I’ve seen it appear.)
