MOP Remix Mounts - Not counting towards "No stable big enough" achiev

Bought new mount in remix, checked regular character, mount shows in collection, but is not counted in tally for “No Stable big enough” achievement.

Same. Except my achievement was for “A Horde of Hoofbeats”. I purchased five and only two counted on that day. The next day three were counted.

Still true - sitting on 384 mounts, 340 usable. Added one, flew around on a non-remix toon to prove it’s usable and still on 340.

Can’t see any reason to buy anything really in Remix, except perhaps 1-2 expensive mounts, and no PvP gear available either. Same being true of many transmog sets.

As gearing up will only be of value a week or two into the next xpac (I had MOP Heroic (now called Mythic) raid gear was useful for a month in WoD LFG 5-mans but that was the longest it was ever useful - what exactly do get get from Remix except a chance to power level a dozen or so toons and a timesink ?

Make sure you’re checking on the character that can actually use the most mounts. Paladins for instance tend to have the highest count in most cases since they can earn so many class specific ones.

Say for instance:
Your Paladin has 505 mounts it can use.
Your Mage has 500. The achievement says you have 505 mounts.

You purchase 5 mounts on remix and go to your mage to see an updated count.

Your Mage still shows 505 towards the achievement. If you logged into your Paladin though it would show 510.

I just jumped on the mount, flew around and landed and it still did not count towards my total. :frowning:

But what character did you try? Have you logged into them all to see if it updated? Horde vs alliance, class specific, profession specific, etc all make it a bit harder to track.

I take it back. I still don’t get it - any toon I can ride a mount on, it logically MUST be usable.

BUT, I just bought several more (riding cranes) and they did add to the count both on the toon within Remix AND my hunter main on a different server outside Remix.

NOTE : There was some lag and if that fluctuates up over 30 minutes or so, or it did not update across all toons on the account (58 right now) until logging off the account, it might have delayed the mount count that I looked out.

IDK - it’s not behaving well right now. But it does look like buying mounts inside Remix does count towards the total usable mount total, so long as they really are usable.
