I’ve been experiencing this but I don’t have MogIt. I remembered I do have “Better Wardrobe and Transmog” though, so I tried disabling that and it instantly fixed my freezing/crashing issue.
So it seems addons related to transmogs is somehow causing it.
i still get freezes even without addons on
anybody figure this out? its not addon for me
Same problem: Disabling MogIt yesterday fixed it, but today when I went to log in I’m still having the same problem.
Hello all, I am having the same issue so took the advise of disabling all addons and my Remix Character loaded as it should.
hey i have found a way to do it without turning off your addons when u load in quickly type /reload it will type even why the game is frozen it will reload and chop for a sec and then it goes to normal i hope this helps the people that are having this problem
Same! It also appears to be getting worse. If I waited a minute or two it would come back to life. Now it disconnects.
Confirmed: It’s add-ons.
I disabled betterwardrobe and now it’s fine.

Same here. I never play with addons, so I have nothing to turn off. My game in Remix will freeze then I’ll have to close WoW through task manager. I am unsure on what is causing this. I thought I fixed it by deleting my cache/WTF/Interface folders and that seemed to work for a day but now I am back to my game freezing.

This is still happening to me every time I log in. I’ll load in, freeze immediately and I will have to ctrl+alt+del to get the game to close to reload it from b.net again.
My addons are all off though. So not sure what could be the issue.
Since the last re-set I’ve had this problem (login to Remix toon = freeze, hard logout and login to DF toon = works fine). I followed advice I found on reddit to turn off any transmog addons, I logged into DF toon and turned off Mogit and that did the trick, login to Remix fine.
same issue here, I can’t get on one character but I can log onto others (remix included) no problem. Disabling addons worked for me
I am having the same issue. I’ve found that it’s worse if I have my browser open but it still happens regardless.
FYI I had to Disable MogIt and “All The Things” and the issue went away.
