I have gotten 7 or so letters (recovered item) sent to me from the postmaster in the last 2 days with tinker gems I didnt pick up apperantly. However you can only own one of each. So Ive got a mail box getting mail once or twice a day with tinker gems I “didnt pick up” and it wont let me delete the mail or add it to my inventory cause I already own one.
Can you fix this, I know its not that big a deal but I dont want my mail box maxing out for some reason cause I cant delete or open the mail and missing out on something important I didnt pick up.
IM assuming they drop I cant get them casue I got one already of that type and the game thnks I didnt get them so is trying to mail them to me.
In all cases these were for gems I already had. There’s no obvious reason why the Postmaster would think I didn’t pick them up. I didn’t drop them, my bags weren’t full, there weren’t any other problems, etc.
Because the items are unique. You already had one, and another one dropped, and you couldn’t loot it, and the Postmaster system said “Hey! You missed something!” and sent it to you.
It’s kind of getting annoying and out of hand.
Please do something about this. Numerous times, I’ve had to remove a gem from my current gear, just to delete it so I could grab the mail item. Please stop!
Ahh. So maybe really the bug is that the “roll a random gem the player doesn’t already have” system isn’t working quite right.
But thanks for saying this out loud because although it should have been obvious, it didn’t occur to me to work around it by deleting the copy I already had (I assumed they’d be un-deleteable but that’s on me.)
