Has Blizzard said anything about whether we will be able to choose which server that our Graduated level 70 Remix Characters go to after the event is over?
I’m under the impression that we’ll be playing on completely separate servers for the purpose of MOP remix, and then our Characters will be transferred to regular servers after. Is this correct? or are we making our Remix Characters on our regular servers?
so once the event is done, will we be able to select which server our Remix characters go to? or will it be like, the last server you played on or what?
sorry if this seems like a dumb question or if I am overthinking it.
I’m pretty sure you create the character on the chosen server at the time of creation.
So if you want the character to ultimately end up on Area 52, you need to make it on Area 52.

The remix characters will be on standard realms. This isn’t like Plunderstorm where it’s hosted on a separate server.

I see. so it’s not a completely separate MOP Remix server. gotcha.
Nope, it’s basically Chromie Time on steroids that you’re locked to until the end of the event.

hmm. I was thinking about making a character on the Argent Dawn/Scryers server cluster anyway. I might just use MOP remix for this.
Currently on Shadow Council but maybe wanting a Server that’s based in my own time zone.
Is the Sentinels/Kirin Tor/Steamwheedle group in your time zone? We’re Central time. I ask because it’s the same type of low pop RP server grouping. And you’re welcome to hang out with my guildies. Some of us live in EST.

Central isn’t terrible.
I just don’t wanna be 2-3 hours ahead of the people I’m supposed to be playing with, you know? 1 hour ahead isn’t awful.

Yes we all realize that. I am talking about in game sharding… if I am on say Feathermoon I get an entirely different experience then someone on say Stormrage… which is totally fine, it just hadn’t occurred to me until @Sendryn post

I’ll be outside working this afternoon but online in the evening.
You create the character on a server of your choice. after the event the character becomes playable in normal retail on that server you picked. it even shows up in your character selection screen fyi.
I wish you could use existing characters. I have 2 characters of every class (alliance and horde) already. And they all have stuff like level 3 garrisons and the BFA cloak. So I really don’t have any desire to create a new character, if I do it’ll just be deleted like my disposable allied race alts I used to get the heritage armor.
