MoP raid group?

Im not the best with the group finder thing in old content here, so I need to ask…

I have a number of characters locked at 90 in MoP content.
Realistically IF I could find other interested players, I can actually ‘start a group’ , select Throne of Thunder or another MoP raid…and assuming people signed up and we had a full group it should work, correct?

Just asking because I didnt start until Legion and Im dying to actually see an MoP raid in person instead of being 25 levels over and soloing it.

If you get a group for it, you can queue for raid finder from the Lorewalker, yes.

I do this with a friend, just the two of us.

what do you mean from the lorewalker? Is that something different that the group finder?

From what I remember, LFR pandaria was removed, and can only be accessed by talking to an NPC.

Unless its different for level 90 players.

oh…ok.
Looking at the raid finder it does actually list MoP raids.
but that would just put me in a queue and Id probably be there forever waiting?

You can make a group for anything using LFG.

Can set whatever requiments you’d like as well. Might be difficult to find enough people to make it happen the way I think you’d like to experience it though.

Probably. I’d be incredibly surprised if you got a group waiting in the queue.

It seems to only need as few as 10 players.
I can muster up five that I know of.
Guess I’ll need to go harass some players in Stormwind for a while till they do it just to shut me up :joy:

I like your attitude.

Make it happen.

I might be freaky, I dont know…but what’d be cool to me is just having an MOP raiding guild or something…kwim?
I mean…why do we feel forced to only be in new content when theres so much great old stuff in this game?

If you only need 9 people, you could just do normal mode and walk in.

Party Sync and repeatable completed quest are coming in the next patch, in 3 days.

Seems to be Blizzard testing the waters for making older content relevant to max level players.

Is there some difference in how the raid works if we go thru the entrance rather than the finder?
Sorry…I just dont know much about that finder

Raid Finder is a weaker and easier version of the raid.

Reduced boss health, damage, and abilities.

raid finder is an easier difficulty with lower ilvl loot rewards than normal than heroic than mythic.

also the gear colors may (mostly are) be different from difficulty to difficulty.

Omg dont tell me that.
I’ll get worked up and wont sleep for days thinking about it. :joy:

ohhh…I did not know that.
edit…oh…ok…so you mean basically the “LFR” version?

I think I may advertise an MoP raiding guild and see if players are interested in game.

Scaling broke so many things in current content, imagine what broke and still remains broken in older content.

Also doesn’t help that MoP legendary Cape isnt obtainable anymore, with SoO tuned to be having it.

going back to that point, it would be GREAT if we could just use the finder to run any of the old content with max level characters.
That timewalking thing is fun and all but its rarely what Im actually interested in.
I’d like to run thru ToT just one time AS a raid instead of the one shot kill.

I was just thinking of the same thing. Have these raids been tested with lvl 90 toon players since the scaling/squish went into effect?
