dynamic flight is fun and all but it won’t come out until classic Dragonflight
imagine being so against a purely cosmetic feature that has zero impact on PvP/PVE/Raiding/Rankings/etc.
Good thing there is an option to toggle it on and off! Flying cross continent in Cata is SOOOOOOOO SLOOOWWWWWW
but going WEEEEEEE WEEEEEEE close to the ground is hella fun
Having races available in the prepatch is a bigger gameplay change than a form of flying
Its not only cosmetic. You’re literally faster with Dragonriding.

Gets you faster from raid A to raid B which is in fact something that happens in T14. Other than that, it’s simply too fast for Pandaria, the zones aren’t built/designed for Dragonriding. I’m fine with Dragonriding in an MoP+ or MoP SoD or whatever, but MoP Classic should be at least be somewhat close to the original.

Never played Retail to experience dynamic flying, but I’ve seen people use it. And it’s terrible. Traditional flying vastly superior.
And of course it has no place in Classic.

I mean… why are you playing Classic then? Why not go back to retail where they have that? Why insult people for wanting the game to stay as close to the original?
I myself don’t mind Dragon Riding. Never tried it, but I don’t really want them adding that for several reasons.
Just enjoy MoP for what it was. If they continue to keep moving forward into expansions, you’ll get Dragon Riding eventually.

We can’t “Just enjoy MoP for what it was.”, as classic does not represent the OG, but simply provides the content it once had. But cadence, knowledge, planning, the playerbase, online content, ranking, meta, economy, culture, balancing are all different.
For the same reason we’ve had a sub 100 change to classic already thus far. And some are far more game altering than dragon/dynamic riding would ever be,
You could alway go play retail for retail features.

I prefer Classic and haven’t been able to get into retail in years, I just think people who have never even used the feature saying it’s terrible is hilarious. It is genuinely fun and way better than “get on mount, fly in straight line at constant speed, get off mount.”

I never said it’s terrible. I just said I don’t want it in the game because I hate retail. They’ve made a lot of changes that I do not like, and I hate how they made M+ mandatory for the higher end content. Although, that’s a whole other matter.
As far as Dragon Riding is concerned, I don’t particularly mind it, but I think would be better to wait until DF to release it. Who knows, I might actually like it when it comes out.
