Fair enough. I’m not saying that everyone is with me on hating the token, I’m just saying that there was a time where it had ZERO chance of being implemented into Classic. Back when they went to painstaking lengths to recreate the original game.
Remember, they reintroduced artificial hardware limitations into the game, just to keep it as close to the original article as possible. I’m just saying that they won’t be putting that kind of effort into the game anymore. Today, whatever is in their reference material for MoP is what will be in Classic. The only work they’ll do is to monetize it more than it already was.
I like the feeling of a reward for each level. Having to wait 15 levels for a new ability saps the fun out of leveling for me. The thing with cookie cutter builds is that they are worked around tier gear sets. You’re not necessarily going to lose gobs of DPS from not running a cookie cutter build.
Inferno dungeons weren’t part of cataclysm or the 3 alpha omega beta dungeon styles in wrath. Those weren’t “classic”. Those are “refurbished” things. Why not talent trees.
We can only hope, but I greatly doubt it. That would probably require a ton of work and rebalancing. I’m not a programmer so I wouldn’t know but it seems like the obvious outcome.
Yeah, no. Blizzard has demonstrated how much they care about classic going forward. They didn’t do anything new for Cata so they aren’t going to do anything new for MoP
The most optimistic sentiment I can have is that their classic team is preoccupied with working on a Classic+ or SoD2
because adding a aura to instances that increase mob health and damage by X% isn’t the same as having to rebalance the entire game so that an entirely different system will work for it.
also Feral, Guardian, Mistweaver, Brewmaster and Windwalker would need completely new talent trees and can’t just “add on another row”
