Things I’m looking forward to:
The legendary cloak quest being obtainable through raid finder at a slower pace made mop super assessable for casuals and no-lifers alike.
Timeless isle is goated wpvp (so is the wall by the pvp vendors)
Garrosh is a great villain with great dialogue.
Eles best version of stormkeeper melts everything
PvP is just insanely good for most specs. Almost everything is viable and feels strong.
I can’t wait!
MoP was a weird one, imo. More power to you if that is your jam.
I didn’t really care for the king fu panda stuff but the game was mechanically sound and things were generally balanced.
The raids were also fun but not too complicated.
It was very casual friendly
I quit right before MoP, as I considered the addition of pandas and Pokémon to my game to be a game killer. I returned for WoD. But when Era started in 2019, I quit retail never to return.
I quit in original Cata, realizing WoW had become a joke.
When they launched MoP and it wasn’t an April 1st gag, I knew it was the long delayed punch line.
I remember that! People thought it was a joke!
I’m pretty sure Pandas actually were one of the April 1st jokes long before MoP was announced.
Yeah, the panda stuff turned me off too but once you play it and realize how good it is mechanically and balance wise…I gave it a pass.
The gameplay is what matters to me
Desroying people with my Zoo before they nerfed it was good times.
I remember the zoo…that thing was insane 
I remember a destro lock could kill 2 people at the same time with dbl coil/cb spam and also had the regeneration ability that kinda looked like a dark evocate.
Most classes were excellent for pvp.
Feral was a god in wpvp though. Literal gods
OHHH and MW got a 2 second immunity every time you stunned them!!! I remember that because I was playing fire and combustion would stun when you used it.
Im sure it will have more of a meta now, but it felt like back then almost every spec was good in pvp
Honestly my favorite thing to play was ele in bgs.
I could melt 5 players at once with stormkeeper.
Chain lightning actually did damage
MoP was alright, however looking forward to WoD classic. From meme to reality.
I don’t look forward to the daily quest grind but I have to admit that Hunters in MOP have very fluid and satisfying rotations.
MOP is super fun expansion, you can find various reasons to play it.
