Mop had the funnest classes ever in the history of wow. Im also waiting for mop classic. Ill try the rest but classic is boring tbc has arena but everyone will be horde disc priest or rogue… wotlk is just stack stam on a dk and spam death strike for god mode. Cata i dont remember but mop had every class feeling strong and original. I mean melee warlock tank was just to cool lol. The game didnt have scaling and timeless isle was prob the best catch up mode ever. You wernt totally forced to use horde humans had emfh. If they simply released all expansions at once id pick mop and never leave. I wish they would so we can simply pick our flavor. And yah i miss uplift lol.

Mop class design made any class fun to play. i had a surv hunt (this guy) for casual stuff and casual pvp (cause #$#$ flag sitting) spriest, afflic lock, assas rogue, resto sham for arenas and rbgs… pvp was so much fun because all classes were a blast to play. class complexity is when i love the game most

MoP can stay dead. Peak class homogenisation. Even healers had kicks. Everyone casting while moving, everyone AOE stun, why even have classes. There’s a reason they wound it all back immediately in the next expansion and ever since.

Not something I’d ever touch, but just imagine for a moment that Blizzard sets up each expansion as Classic, in the same order as originally, with ~2 years between them. The alternating years are already on the Retail cycle:

WOW Classic in 2019.
(Retail Shadowlands in 2020.)
TBC Classic in 2021.
(Retail Who Knows What in 2022.)
Wrath Classic in 2023.
(Retail What Else Could it Be in 2024.)
Cata Classic in 2025.
(Retail Why Isn’t it Dead Yet in 2026.)
MoP Classic in 2027.

Realistic? Well, once upon a time ‘legacy servers’ weren’t realistic, so … if you’ve got the patience, you can wait and see.

I seriously doubt they’d go beyond wrath. Reason being Cata was kinda the mark of the end of vanilla and set the framework for modern and beyond that it quickly becomes more and more to a point where you may as well just be playing modern. But it does me no harm if they do it, enjoy if somehow it does happen.

I would agree. One of the best examples of subliminal racism and blatant stereotyping.

Because Lucas is a hack writer.

Classic wont go beyond wrath. …Blizz has hinted at a classic Trilogy ending with the lich king…

You think you do… but you dont.

While I doubt seriously that Blizzard would ever go beyond the Holy Trinity in doing a Classic re-release, I gotta say that MoP was a great expansion, and the people who excoriate it because LOLPANDAS are really clueless. IMO it represents the best writing and storytelling Blizzard has been able to muster in the post-RTS era, the raids were great, and the classes were fun. The biggest complaint I have about MoP was how they decided to sideline dungeons.

its a easy way to make out sub 100 IQ people tho.

anyways MoP classic servers would be nice but I doubt that ever gonna happen, If tho I have to put my real life on hold for 2 years.

I feel like if you are after panda classic you’d do better getting classes changed in retail to be more like they were then. The content is still there to visit. Classes just changed.

I miss ice block on my druid but other than a few gimmick things like that, and being a super slippery monk in pvp with ranged disarm, that expansion was pretty stupid

I do.
MoP was the only expansion that I missed because Cataclysm was so bad that I closed my account down.
Then I went back to MoP in retail, and wow, it was beautiful.
Did TW event, and the dungeons were so refreshing.
Then I heard that MoP class designs were the peak of WoW, even better than Legions, and that devs should go back to MoP designs for Shadowland.
