MOP Classic: Transmogs Not working - Won't Collect Equipped Items as Appearances

Issue: A friend of mine (who is a new player) isn’t able add transmogrification appearances to his collection after equipping new gear. Even the items he’s currently wearing state in the tooltip that “You haven’t collected this appearance”. The only items that seem to be working as intended are his cloak & weapons. When he goes to the TMOG station and talks to the NPC, every item other than the cloak and weapons has a red circle with a cross through it and states that it cannot be transmogrified.

There has been a post on here regarding this topic since July 18 and still hasn’t been addressed. Hoping to be a squeaky wheel and get this in front of the right people, because TMOGS imo are pretty major function of the game that are meant to be enjoyed.

Having the same problem. Gear that my characters are wearing and are not being added to the appearance collection, despite having a obvious appearance. Full chest, shoulders, legs, feet appearance tabs show completely empty when looking at collections.

This seems so far to only affect characters I’ve made after MoP was released. Characters made before seem to be unaffected.

Tried to transmog the hand wraps for monks and even though it says I collected the appearance, it doesn’t show up.

Me too! Characters made after mop don’t work, characters made before do.

Same here, only weapons are collected.
