Piggybacking off of this thread in the Classic Bug forum, because it feels like the Classic bug forum is either geared too much towards Era or is just otherwise abandoned.
We can no longer summon the Incubus in progression Classic - and this seems to have started with Cata pre-patch. I want to assume, in good faith, it was due to the world revamp, and not a lot of effort being put into Cata Classic at the time…
The spell, as well as the associated quest ‘Devourer of Souls’ (offered from special warlock NPCs in the warlock areas of the two major cities), has been missing since the world revamp. From what I can gather, there was no official word on if the removal was intended, or simply one of many forgotten things to update. I’ve submitted a bug report in-game as well, but it would be nice for this to either finally get looked at in MoP (and made available again), or otherwise get some actual word on why he was removed after being put in as a change to begin with.
I always use Incubus in retail, and am a little devastated I can’t use him in MoP Classic on this new warlock I was leveling for all the great class changes in MoP.

Just like with the linked thread, it’s genuinely kind of insane it’s been over a year since they “forgot” to bring the incubus back into the game. I don’t know why they just ignored his lack of existence after wrath.

Still missing, yes. I have sent in bug reports, and yet Blizzard has neither acknowledged it as a bug nor given comment on any intended removal, so who knows.
I’ve honestly given up and refuse to play my warlock until it’s corrected or at least we’re given reasoning as to why he was removed, when no other version of Classic has removed him. As is, I also barely play MoP Classic right now as well.
Numerous bugs exist from when the world changed over to Cataclysm, including this one. Many have still not been corrected, nor even acknowledged as existing, despite numerous reports on forums and I assume in-game. Many MoP Classic bugs are also allowed to run rampant, and it comes down to feeling as if Blizzard just does not care about this particular product. Which does not encourage me to play it over other, more cared-for versions of Classic - or Retail.
It’s incredibly disappointing - but what else do I expect out of Blizzard when it comes to milking the Classic experience for all its worth, I suppose.
