so basically jogu changes his crop at midnight so you have to check after midnight server time to learn what to plant. blizzard devs are completely incompetent and have no ability to fix this, or any other bugs in MoP.

Neither predictions are working, I consulted him many times from reset to reset, predicted 2 things ( White Turnip and Striped Melon ) and another had the bonus ( Red Blossom Leek ). As it’s not working I’m planting one of each for the achievement, but for massive grinding it really needs a fix.

Can confirm this bug now. I have Jogu at best friend and have been planting what he predicts for a week now. Thus far, only carrots show on my achievement, “Listen to the Drunk Fish”. Not sure if he is out of synch or the bug is with the crop itself, but it definitely is not working.

Jogu was advising Scallions after reset, scallions again all day. Planted scallions didn’t get any bonus crops.
After 1am reset he changed to Pink Turnips.
Planted squash as was told by Jogu, but did not receive credit for achievement, nor any bonus crops today.

The day before he said jade squash, and last night after midnight PDT he said striped melons. Today, the high yield crop was actually carrots. It seems his predictions have no bearing on what the actual crop is.

Can confirm the same issue. Crops are not being correctly predicted during the day.
This is still a problem. This might be a foolish question but is there any way, some macro or another, to figure out the correct crop in the meantime?
Yes this is confirmed a bug. Me and several guildies have repetitively tried on different server times consulting and planting the crops as Jogu advised - 3 AM, 4:01 AM, 6:55 AM, 7:01 AM, 11 PM… you call the time. None of which worked.
If you check Jogu’s Wowhead page someone clarified how to benefit from Jogu in 2012 and clearly that (used to) worked as the server reset was 4 AM back in OG? I am guessing 8 AM server reset in classic is probably a factor contributing to Jogu incapable of telling the fortune.
But oh well, why should we fix this anyway? lower crop yield = higher price for food so we can recycle the gold to refrain from hyper inflation as it did back in OG Mists.
I just noticed today, he advised me to plant white turnip and one of the turnips I planted today was “Bursting” and that gave me 7 turnips instead of the usual 5.
thought i was goin crazy when i kept planting exactly what he suggested when he suggests it and not getting anything extra out of it, glad to know im not like, doing something wrong or something and it’s just Average Blizzard moment
Just wanna suggest what you can actually “do” with this knowledge…
IMO you have 2 options.
1 - you care about the achievement for bonus crops, so maybe you plant a whole bunch of different crops every day to increased the chance of getting the one that gives extra.
2 - you don’t care about or already have the achievement and you just plant what you want.
Hopefully they fix it soon! Not saying these suggestions are idea, just the best things I can come up with considering the circumstances.
Ok turns out it was just Jogu working on one server but not the other.
This is still bugged. Yesterday after reset, Jogu said tomorrow’s crop would be pumpkins. A guildie checked this morning before reset, and Jogu said the crop would be Jade Squash. After reset this morning, the crop that actually gave the harvest bonus was White Turnips.
From the response over on the GitHub site where this bug has been reported, the current situation is that it will not be fixed in 5.5.0. It has supposedly been fixed on the PTR for version 5.5.1 to be released in a few days. Unfortunately, I do not have the PTR installed so I cannot test, but that is the current status of the bug.

Seems to be still bugged
