Encountering a bug with Archaeology digsites in Pandaria.
Constant error whenever I try to Survey in a digsite. “You can’t use that here” pops up as an error message everytime i try to survey in a digsite in Pandaria only. I went to Kalimdor and Northrend and was able to survey just fine.
I reloaded, relogged and even waited a full 24 hour cycle and the bug is still occuring.
I have no restored artifacts to purchase the digsite shuffle item and have no other way to reset the digsites.
Same problem on Pagle server. One note: I did use the Lorewalker’s Lodestone which transports you to a random digsite, then encountered the “You cant use that here” bug at the random digsite. All subsequent digsites are now giving the same error message. I submitted a bug report online, then opened a ticket to find out the solution. If/when I hear from Blizzard, I will come back and let you know what they say. GL
Do you have the Klaxxi digsite-spawn item in your inventory? I was getting that error when I had that in my inventory and was attempting to dig any site that wasn’t Klaxxi related. Removing it from my inventory instantly fixed the issue.
Looks like if you have the Mantid item in your bags, you’ll need to use the randomize site item once, so that all new digsites will generate into Mantid type… otherwise all the existing non-Mantid sites will be undiggable… At least it’s a workaround.
So I can see and dig all sites on my pally, but I am unable to see or dig sites on my druid. I do not have the Mantid item in any of my bags. I maxed out my pally arch skill, just finished leveling druid to 90, his skill level was Cata maxed at 525 I believe. I have 525/600 listed for skill level. Cannot see or dig any Mop sites. Not a mantid thing.
These look to be two different bugs.
