MoP Beta Stress Test Available to Everyone – June 18 2:00-4:00pm PDT

We’ll be performing a stress test for Mists of Pandaria Classic on Wednesday, June 18, from 2:00pm - 4:00pm PDT. During this time, we ask players to jump in on the PTR (Cataclysm Classic) realm environment to help simulate the launch.

For the stress test, all races and classes will be available for creation along with level 85 templates and character copy. The starting quests will become active at 2:50pm PDT to allow players time to set-up and get ready.

Jump in, storm Pandaria, and help us make sure that people aren’t getting stuck on the ship :flushed:. Players who do not have a beta invite are encouraged and welcomed to please help jump in and participate. And who knows, you might encounter some shenanigans along the way…

If you encounter any issues during the test, you can submit them through the bug reporting tool in-game. If there are any aspects you’d like to discuss, feel free to post in the Classic Discussion forum.

Yeah, having to always chill out in an instance just to not get booted was a bit cumbersome. Was that “World Server Down” issue addressed already?

The servers can’t even stay up longer than 3 minutes, how the heck are you going to do a “stress test”?

I would help out but I still don’t have BEAT access, you said everyone can join in, when can I download the BETA?

Sir pls learn reading. You don’t have to have beta access, they are doing it on the PTR realms which is available to everyone that has PTR toggled in on your bnet account.

people complaining about them trying to solve server instability issues by pointing out the servers are instable. weird take but ok

The servers are already crashing repeatedly, adding more players is just gonna make them crash worse

so they should just ignore testing solutions for when the server is more populated for…reasons?

Can you tell us which PTR? I would like to download it today top be prepared for tomorrow, but I do not see a Mists of Pandaria PTR, only the Cataclysm PTR.

I mean yeah? Unless they already have a fix and just haven’t implemented it yet. Its a huge waste of everyone’s time to stress test something that doesn’t even work when not stressed.
