MOP and WOD Challenge modes on Trading Post

it was recently confirmed that both WOD and MOP challenge mode sets will be available on the trading post at launch of 10.0.5.

I am so happy

i bet this means that all the mage tower weapons are coming back shortly after launch?

Obvious one-post troll Classic account is obvious. Blizzard has said multiple times recently the appearances aren’t coming back.

I’m honestly surprised that Blizzard hasn’t taken the retroactive route. You know, “if you beat all of the MOP dungeons on M+15 on a single character, then you’ll get credit for beating it on CM gold.” (Likewise for WOD, but dunno how to handle bronze and silver rewards.)

Since Blizzard can control what dungeons are part of the M+ menu, it’d be a horribly crafty way of retaining players by drip-feeding them one or two MOP and WOD dungeons a season.

I’d actually just like more challenges for gear. They’d be fun solo content for us to work towards for cosmetics, and not actually give us power.

I have the Druid/Shammy and Priest set. I wouldn’t be mad about it. I want the sets I didn’t have a chance to get.

They already reintroduced these sets in Legion.

They introduced recolors that also had details removed.

Imo some of them look better than the OG Cm sets.

Well yeah cause they’re easier to get. But if its the models availability that is the problem they are there.

Its not that i think they mean anything skill wise. I helped idk how many people get theirs, some were straight dead weights AFKing at the entrance of the instances while me and my buddies did the work so i’m fully aware they’re not a skill status symbol.

But they’re still a fun memento from what i think was a really good time within the game for the people who played then and i’d prefer if they stayed that way.
