It is pretty disappointing, because I prefer Horde RP to Alliance RP, but it’s just how it’s been going.

When Velfs came out I made one on MG so I could live the Moon Guard experience, long story short, I ended up transferring most of my toons there. I also never played Alliance before.
I don’t RP but I do enjoy watching people do and just for the general ambiance it’S unlike any other realm.

MG is my #2 home. havent been on any other. I dont RP but i enjoy seeing people doing their own things and dam do they have toys lmao

I’ve had good experiences on Moon Guard, the people just seem friendlier there and can handle a little spice in the chat without throwing a fit. Then you have over sensitive cesspits like Proudmoore who mass report over the most innocuous bantz in the public chats, it’s wild how different servers can attract such disparate peoples
RP servers are generally the best even if you don’t RP, assuming you’re respectful to those who do. People are just friendlier in general and seem less miserable. Even in other games like FFXIV.
I can never UNSEE what I saw on Moonguard. The Horrors of Goldshire Inn will stay with me forever.
That sever needs to be treated like a Toxic Biohazard Breakout. Bomb it then walk away and forget it ever existed
i went to MG to see what all the fuss was about… i heard many mg stories lol. I made a toon went to GS inn and was like omg wow!! I even made a horde toon there to see life on that side!! was fairly quiet. So i stayed!
Not long after i moved several of my toons to MG and have been there since. Horde and Alliance. I dont rp but i sometimes hang around and just listen. Its like watching a play or reading a vibrant story unfolding before your eyes.
Love it there. Although i dont go to GS anymore unless i have to lol
Moonguard has the best trade chat. It’s why I have like 23 toons there.

People have cited that as a reason in the past as well, but I never experienced it. I only ever heard about it second or third-hand from people who had already moved to MG without any real evidence or even anecdotes to it. Not saying it didn’t happen, but I don’t think any RP realm is some promised land free of scrutiny.
As time passed and the RP groups dwindled, it became more noticeable. I’ve never had an issue with it, personally… but I have witnessed it more on WrA than I did on MG.
That’s why you like it… because of the “chilling” and “talking” in Goldshire 
Moon Guard is a pretty solid server that I cut my teeth on. It’s especially good for Alliance toons. I would argue that WRA is better for horde players though.
Make sure you guys at least download TRP3 if you’re transferring here lol
