I have to say, if I am playing Alliance, I am playing on moonguard.
All my Alliance alts are on moon guard.
Only because it is the most toxic free server. Yes, they talk a lot of nonsense in trade but all that is harmless.
YOu would never read in the chats anything bad, about women, men, gays or trans.
Yes, they talk politics but everyone can have their opinion. and most of the time, it is intellectual debates back and forth.
Any new player should try moonguard.
Goldshire inn is a lot of fun on the weekend. Lots of players there just chilling and taking.
Roleplaying is fun on moonguard, i once walked into Goldshire inn and this bartender was serving me drinks for 10 gold each. he had drinks from all over azeroth lmao. that was hilarious.
The items are reasonable on AH, you can buy anything for a reasonable price, lots of guilds always inviting.
Moon guard is love, Moonguard is life.
I will roleplay as an Alliance Queensquard. Soon, Faerin is coming to the city.

It’s a solid server.
Doesn’t feel quite as community-driven as it did 6+ years ago, but I suppose that’s just the game in general more than anything else. It’s still a good place.
Goldshire is what it is. It shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone anymore.
99% of the extra raunchy stuff sticks to whispers. The people actually chatting publicly are literally just chatting.

True, I started playing Moonguard a few weeks ago, I met a lot of nice and kind people. A player asked me if I liked pet battles, after I said yes, he opened the trade and gave me a bunch of pets for free

Moonguard is my favorite server and it has a bunch of wonderful and kind people. It’s nice being around people that care for the social side of the game.

I would never play on Stormrage, Sargeras and Azrlon. This is just my opinion. No reasons. Just won’t play one them.
Im on Sargeras , i dont think its a bad server, i have an alt in MG and everytime i log in someone says something weird in trade like off the bat

No one would even whisper you as you don’t have the RP add on. And if they did. It would be a free trial account where the player does not care about any consequences.
You cannot just randomly message someone off the bat stuff and not have consequences.

Been playing WrA/MG since DF started. Great servers with dope communities. Now you can switch realms on the fly, but I’d never want to go back to Illidan/Thrall at this point.

Lol, I got in the habit back in BC that every time I log in on a new alt, I immediately go to the chat settings and turn off Trade and General. 
Anyone who has been around since Vanilla has got to remember the infamous “Barrens chat”!
Moongaurd and Tich both feel like old servers still to me. Tich is still full of the same players and it’s a little rowdy, and Moongaurd has a strong community of people that know one another. Many other servers don’t feel quite as lively to me now.
Alterac mountains and connected servers also deserves a shout out. People seem to know others and of other guilds there.

I think it is very important for new players to get in on the right servers or their experience could be good or bad.
There a very few servers which are good.
Tich was a lit server back 10 years ago. Now it is a dead zone to me.
no REASONS yet wont play on them.
Moon guard is a great realm. I play there too. However the guilds that hang down at goldshire are nothing but drama and I would stear clear of ALL OF THEM.
Speaking from personal experience as a person who easily avoids drama, these guilds are trainwrecks of immaturity. I hang down at gold shire occasionally and stand in my own corner and wait for world pvp to hop off. That’s the only reason hang there.
