Yeah, you’re right. ED seems to be mostly Horde and even then, TRP is rare.
Honesly, the goldshire meme is overblown. I have all my alliance toons on Moonguard and if you go to lions pride inn its just full to the brim with characters in no armor doing nothing and saying nothing.
If you want to simulate a naked mime convention that’s the best place to go. The raunchy stuff is all in whispers and RP addons… unless you go there naked yourself you are in for a very weird but silent time.

I wonder if it used to being RP-PvP has something to do with it. Both WRA and MG were always just RP, if I remember, correctly.
I am eternally kicking myself, because a long time ago, before things got so imbalanced, I decided to make all my allies on WrA. Now I don’t want to invest the hundreds of dollars it would take to transfer. xD

I swapped to Sargeras a while back and don’t regret it. Good Alliance server.
That’s why I suggested something like the golden saucer or a permanent DMF maybe if there was a intended social, game place available all the time people would feel the need to resort to goldshire erp as a social activity less often.
Blizzard should be adding a lot more games, puzzles ect to the dmf

Why isn’t there a bar at the dmf with darts, pool tables and sand volley ball courts?
Why can’t we have races around the lake at dmf on those adorable animal floaties in the goblin zones? I always wanted to ride one of those

Stormrage kinda does, but only if you count the trade chat denizens trolling everyone constantly.
Since I started playing on MG-A, I’ve only had one random stranger proposition me for erp.
…I am kinda disappointed. I thought there would be more.

I have been on Moonguard for many years and have had no problems there.
There is plenty of regular non-goldshire RP to be had, and I deactivated trade chat many years ago.
I’ve heard it said that a large part of the folks in goldShire are tourists from other servers anyways.
Of course others’ mileage may vary.
