Moonguard is pretty much the only alliance server

As do I. But let me know how Silvermoon looks next time you go there.

  • Since when has SM been the rp hub? I was talking about org on wra myself.

I have been working on Allied Races otherwise iā€™m open to walk ups.

They could be.

SM was never THE hub, but it was an active hub full of people just a couple years ago. Itā€™s a ghost town now. The forest outside of the city used to be full of people too. Itā€™s a shame whatā€™s happened.

Stormrage
Sargeras
Proudmoore
Dalaran

Over here like

And Iā€™m that weird Hordie on Moon Guard, but I like the server even if I can only communicate with 10% of it lol.

There are a lot of really cool role-playing events though. I have to find the ones that include neutral or non-alliance only.

Like the undead gatherings or that one that happens at the argent tournament in August.

Moonguard trade chat is the only place left where you speak freely without being reported by fuddy duddies and puritanical conservative types.

How long have you played on Moonguard? Couple of minutes? Maybe an hour??

Silvermoon was a huge RP hub before Legion when I peaced out of it. I remember personally discontinuing due to wanting to avoid a certain group of trolls with a thing for memes and behavior of the ww2 bad guy nature.

It probably died up some because everyone was busy playing the game. Then BfA was not good, then SL happened.

Iā€™d like to revive RP there, it would not be my first time helping revive a RP scene but Iā€™m happy just RPing with my partner and guildmates, and in the past my efforts have just got me burned.

You build up a nice community of people playing together without anyone really holding the reins IC and then people come out of the woodworks who want power and authority and all that. I just donā€™t bother anymore, let the people who want to have power over others put in the work and nurture the community.

What RP i see on Alliance here is in Duskwood mainly.

  • yea I recalled on some servers SM being A go to but i thought the main cities was the hub for it everywhere thatā€™s why I didnā€™t originally mention org in my first post lol.

Here being MG? interesting.

I think some of the first comments are missing the ā€œstill has a communityā€ part. As in, how realms used to feel back in the day before CRZ and Cross Realm Everything. There are bigger realms. That doesnā€™t mean they capture that feeling like Moon Guard kinda-sorta does. Honestly itā€™s the reason I was scouting out the realm well before I actually decided to abandon WRA.

Iā€™m not gonna say itā€™s perfect or anything. Honestly, that ā€œcommunityā€ feeling has declined a bit since a handful of years ago, but itā€™s still one of the best options if thatā€™s what youā€™re looking for.

No. Here being WRA.

iā€™m not sure where the irony is but it is home.

o ok.

Yeaaa but as a pvper myself Iā€™ve learned i would rather port in for those events so i can get the best of both worlds instead of forsaking WM. The community is really cool on MG.

It was from server launch all the way into Legion.

Even Org has very little RP these days.

Org gets a decent amount but itā€™s a shadow of its former self. If Horde RP dies on WRA I have no idea what Iā€™ll do. I donā€™t mind Alliance but none of the races really pull me like the Horde ones do.

Iā€™m afraid that cross faction will kill off roleplay for horde to be honest

We not in legion we in SL lol.

Not from my experience.

Therein lies the issue. It went from being insanely populated with roleplayers in Silvermoon and all over Quelā€™thalasā€¦ in Thunder Bluffā€¦ in Hearthglen, etc. to nowyoure lucky if you find RP outside of the Org tavern.
