Monks vs Kite Classes

I feel like my monk gets kited harder than my warrior despite more overall mobility. Anyone else feel this way? I can’t quite figure out why.

You need to make a macro to cancel your roll/torepdo so you dont overshoot your target and make sure u have tigers lust on

I did not know that was possible. Thanks!

It takes practice, what kind of class are you talking about?

Doesn’t need a macro for the kiting classes, because if they are close enough that you have to roll and cancel to not over shoot then you wasted it.
That macro is more for a quick kick if needed, not to catch kite classes.

Monk in the open, I feel you. Charge and Storm Bolt seem to give a little more control up front. BUT, Paralyze is your best friend in those chases, Ring of Peace to stop escapes if you have it, and ALWAYS throw on Disables. Each alone really won’t save you, but together Monk is a nightmare to shake (mmm and Turbo Fists).

Open space fighting though isn’t what Monk dominates. That’s where rDPS tries to occupy, notably casters with some distance between to avoid melee cleaves. Once you get any sort of walls or z-axis ramps/floors, Monk dominates. Transcendence creates big brain plays. Kite the kiter, and they’ll have a tough time turning around once you have them caught.

They can just depends. Like Ruins is my most lost map, because it’s open and confined that’s the real problem.

Wpvp having the whole world can still dominate very fine, if they make the mistake of not following you.

Use your speed to your advantage, for me i can set a transcendence and then create space then use it as another gap closer of sorts.
This is what I do with arcane mages. Roll to match shimmers and teleport for displacer.
