Monks need a Gun-based Spec

The whole narrative surrounding Monks involves turning their own body into the weapon due to Pandaren Slaves not being allowed weapons under the Mogu.

However, there is a lack of Representation when it comes to said weapons.

So far we have only seen Monks utilize their bodies to become a Melee Weapon, but what about Ranged Weapons?

What is stopping Monks from being one with the Gun? Instead of utilizing the Bullet, they become the Bullet

Padaren Lore Justification for Gun Spec

Among the Pandaren Racials, there are two that give insight on the ability for Pandaren to become the Bullet

  • Bouncy
  • Quaking Palm

Bouncy: Implies Pandaren would take little to no damage when propellled at a target area or player (possibly 30 yd max range to minimize self-damage), in addition to allowing for necessary recoil.

Quaking Palm: Part of the description “strike target with lightning speed” implies the Pandaren may reach the speed of lightning, let alone the speed of a bullet (average 833 meters per second).

Calves and the importance of Leg Day

It is no secret that Pandaren Calves are huge, which would give them the ability to propel themselves at a target and bounce back with strong recoil velociticity.

But what of other Races?

Simple

Increase the Calf Size of Races who choose the Monk Class by 70%, and Gut size by 230%

or make Monk Gun Spec a Pandaren Exclusive

Lore Justification?

The Celestial Gym of Steel Columms, hidden in the lower levels of Temple of Five Dawns for those brave enough to pursue leg day.

The Buffet of Authentic Lipids, an all you can eat buffet, featuring optional outdoor balcony dining within the Temple of Five Dawns for those that understand a Large Gut is a sign of Wealth and Prosperity.

The saying is figurative, not literal. This feels like a Sunday post that didn’t make it out of the ranch on time, or was far too early.

I think Monks should also be the first class to have a weaponized mount. A canon of sorts. That can fly. Has no Cast time. Can be summoned in combat. Has a side hustle that earns you gold when you aren’t riding it.

I’ll support it if they add a transmog set to look like a cleric from Equilibrium.

Fun concept! It reminds me of of movie Equilibrium. I’m all for a new gun spec, however, I’d like a Rogue Gunslinger that dual-wields pistols and has a duck and cover system.
