They’re higher than Prot warrior just not in DPS, they’re runner up to Vengence while Prot warrior and Paladin are next followed by Guardian and Blood
Fact is, even with RWF monk tanks, monk is still the least used CLASS, full stop, in the entire game and has been for years, that’s a fact.
Because people still don’t understand how to use stagger… it’s the hardest tank to learn out of them.
See that’s the problem around here, I never said BrM is bad, I said there are better tanks.
The top end, like the top 2 timed keys…which both had a monk in them.

Monks doing X is good, but every other class doing X+10 is better.

- Stats don’t lie, just look at the overall representation of monks in M+, last, dead last, again.
- I never said monks are bad, I just said they are least used, mostly because there are just better classes.
Just because a class is least used does not mean you all have to automatically assume that someone is insinuating that said class is bad. They have some good things about them, but there is a reason that, statistically, they are least used, again, for the last like 6 expansions.
But they are not in the toilet.
Is the issue that you dont care about them being good or not, just wanting more people to play them?

People are gonna gloss over this thinking it’s an empty statement, but I think this is true. I mean you have people avoiding Pres Evoker like the plague because they think its “hard to play” because of the range limitation, when in reality it doesn’t matter in dungeons. The only thing that’s ever out of range is Dream Breath and it’s usually just one person, it doesn’t matter.
That doesn’t MATTER.
We’re in a point in WoW balance where content can be cleared by anyone REGARDLESS.
So what if you’re not pushing more than what these guys are? You can still DO content!

Yup… I’ve seen so many monk tanks stay in the red with their staggers and get hit like trucks and not clear it or reapply it after clearing… they make their healers work 100x harder or just drop and think they’re crap. Good monk tanks don’t have these issues and are self sufficient in keeping themselves up and taking massive hits, thier mobility rivals vegence and their versatile with different affixes. This is what wow has come down to because if any class or spec requires half a brain to play and people can’t play it they deem it as crap.

I’ve seen some pretty good monk dps in the raid this season. Ret paladin on the other hand is still behind, even after a 5% dmg buff.
