barely middle of the pack in arena at the moment, and you’re not even nerfing the build that makes them strong in bgs. You’re nerfing the only viable build we have in arena

We got nerfed? Where were these changes posted?

  • Mastery: Gust of Mist healing decreased by 10%.
  • Jade Bond now increases the healing of Gust of Mist by 20% (was 40%).
  • Rushing Wind Kick now increases Renewing Mist’s healing by 150% (was 100%).
  • Resplendent Mist now increases Gust of Mist’s healing by 60/120% (was 75/150%).
  • Mana Tea now refunds 15% less mana.

You’re forgetting the plethora of buffs the class is getting.
Hybrid getting tapped. FW getting big buffs.

We’ll be fine 100%.

Fistweaving isn’t a viable way to play the game in the current meta

Up until 11.1 I agree.

After 11.1 you’ll see more people playing it. Don’t be surprised when you see people begging for nerfs.

I’d say my opinion holds slightly more weight than yours, however.

Maybe I’ll continue to run zero mastery in pvp and not notice the difference xd. I was looking forward to picking up a little mastery now… shame I’ll be using 3 pieces of tier that have crit on them. I don’t think tier will be optional.

Yea it’ll be interesting to see what the new meta becomes.

Bgs haste will still be by far the best thing you can do, but in arena i’m not sure just yet.

It might actually just be stack haste/vers and try and kill people in openers, which is incredibly toxic.

really depends on how bad the mastery nerfs really are. The amount of mastery you’re able to obtain right now is WAY higher than it ever was in DF so who knows.

I just don’t see the reason to nerf a spec that’s not even remotely meta in arena content. Not only that but you’re nerfing one of the few healer’s that actually relies on heaving casting (even if you’re hybrid mastery) to function.

Low haste builds that are high risk, high reward and require heavy casting are extremely healthy for the game. Makes it so casts are slower to finish and the kick/juke relationship is in well balance, and makes it so if you get swarmed it feels like an actual challenge to stay alive.
