Monk Weapon Bug

After the Pre-Patch I have an issue now on my monk where my Windwalker weapon that I have transmogrified is showing in multiple different positions on my back. To clarify, I see two different models of the same staff. One is the in the normal position for a staff or polearm, and the other is in the same position a 1 handed weapon would be. The weirdest thing is that it still shows when I change specs and have a completely different set equipped. Not sure what is causing it and I am hoping that I am not the only one seeing this issue. Does anyone have any ideas on a fix or if this is a already reported issue?

Edit:

I found the resolution for this issue. It appears for some reason when the PrePatch went live I guess the game assumes Windwalkers are dual-wielding 1 hand weapons or something. I was able to get the second staff to go away by equipping two 1 hand weapons instead of my staff unsheathing them. After that I reequipped my staff and there was no longer a duplicate in my offhand.

Edit 2:

I also can confirm after relogging the bug does comes back. For now, I am swapping my weapons out every time I get on my monk to get rid of the issue temporarily. Hopefully Blizzard figures out what is actually causing the problem and fixes it. I have tried updating mods and deleting my cache and neither did anything.

Thanks for the tip! It was driving me crazy. Tried changing specs, unequipping everything, restarting, but moving the weapon to lefthand slot finally fixed the issue! ^^

So I’m a brewmaster, have this issue as well and this fix didn’t work. I even switched to WW to see and no dice…any other suggestions? Lol, help!

Update after doing this MANY times, it worked!! Thank you!!

As Brewmaster, I seem to have the issue come back every time i log out and back in, the fix works but the bug persists.
