Monk UI proc indicator?

So during combat I’m frequently getting this indicator on my UI of two little green swooshes on either side of my Level 20 Monk character. Typically this means something procced like an ability became free or it’s cooldown was ended or something like that. But for the life of me I can’t figure out what it is. I’m level 20 so all I’m using is Blackout Kick, Spinning Crane Kick, and Tiger Palm… along with Expel Harm when needed for some healing. (I also use Leg Sweep now and then in a trash pull.)

Anybody know what that proc is? It seems to be up for almost all the time in combat. Maybe it’s the Stagger?

I tried asking in the New and Returning Player forum but it’s pretty dead over there and only got one person to take a guess at what it was and that was a week and a half ago.

You won’t get an official answer here as what you’re asking for is considered a game hint, but you might see about clicking the pencil icon at the bottom of your post and moving it to the Monk class forum.

But if memory serves, it does sound like an SCK damage bonus period.

I’m asking for help from another player. Isn’t that part of what the forums are for?

I don’t know what that means.

Lol… Spinning Crane Kick. Sorry. Kinda new to the Monk class. So there’s a damage buff after Spinning Crane Kick?

Blackout Kick gets a proc that lets be used “costing zero Chi” on occasion.
Spinning Crane Kick can get a similar proc (with a damage boost) if you talent into it. but its a level 45 talent I think?

Hey Ffuzz, I think that person means you won’t receive an official (from Blizzard) response to this question as they will probably deem it a “game hint” and they don’t provide those. I don’t think that’s necessarily the case, I think it’s more likely that the Blizzard team doesn’t visit this part of the forums.

In regards to your actual question though. It looks like you’re brewmaster, so assuming you don’t have an addon creating that graphic for some other reason. It would be the stagger level. It should change colors from green to yellow to red as the damage you’re currently staggering goes up.

That is primarily what the purpose of these forums are for, yes. I was simply pointing out that the forum you originally posted this in, Customer Support, was not what they consider appropriate use (as per the mention of game hints) and that you’d have a greater chance by moving it to the aptly-named Monk forums. Whether that was your action or one of the SFAs in CS, all is well as it ended up where the greatest chance of getting your answer lie.

Thanks. I began to suspect that a few days ago. In my case, as a level 20 doing scaled dungeons, my damage intake is so little that I’ve actually never seen it change to Yellow (nevermind Red). But it’s definitely helpful to know should it actually switch to Yellow, that would be a good time to pop some healing or a defensive cooldown.

Actually I originally posted in the New/Returning Players forum, but there’s so little traffic there that after a week and a half I tried CS where there is very heavy traffic from a great deal of knowledgeable players. I wasn’t aware that I could even post in a class forum on an unsubscribed character, but fortunately the moderator redirected the thread here.

In the end, my mystery is solved. Thanks everyone!

Not sure this is stagger indicator, im guessing a screenshot is out of the question due to being in combat

Stagger will have a icon debuff button green yellow red, you wont see red until high end

Disregard this im dumb it is stagger so faint hard to notice it lol

I believe those are from your mastery elusive brawler. You get a stacking percent chance to dodge an attack each time you are hit or use blackout kick.
