Monk soloing

I think the BM monk is the solo spec because it’s a tank spec, but which one is easier to play and manage while soloing? BM or WW? I seem to die more on WW, but I feel a lot more mobility and less buttons in rotation. But maybe that’s because my monk is still lower level? I just want to have fun, but still be useful if I ever need a group or doing dungeon runs. Thanks!

Everything is easy in solo content where legacy stuff just implodes.

Just pick something and figure the rest out later.

Ww monk can he surprisingly tanky

I can solo famu with ease and most hard hitting rares. They have a ton of defensives and utility to keep them alive.

My other half does everything on mw
Not sure if that helps

BM tanks way easier solo, pull as much as you can and burn your CD’s.

Repeat.

Play WW.

BM is terrible without the keg smash legendary for survivability, and even then it’s nothing special.

WW damage is good to excellent in all content. You have several defensive CD’s you can rely on between burst windows to move through things efficiently. WW also drops little healing spheres when killing an enemy that grants experience/honor/whatever. They add up quickly.

WW is relatively complex so it’ll take some time to learn, but it’s the slowest APM melee class so when you figure it out; it becomes one of the easier specs to play.

I levelled as WW monk REALLY easily. Just gotta be aware and know how to play [not on an extreme level]. BM MOnk makes things EASIER though. Tank usually helps it make things easier but kill speed is cut down.

I think brewmaster is great for soloing. It might take a little longer if you pull small but you know what they say! Good things come to those who wait!
