Please, with this nerf on the blow of the lord of the winds, he will not be able to fit the damage because I only have one stun and the damage will be more continuous, so you need these changes either in karma or in stunned Fists of Fury. I haven’t played Monk as much as most, I mostly played it in BFA as a MW, I played DK mainly in SL, but got tired of the Xpack pretty quickly. Had trouble finding a main in DF and decided to roll monk again as WW.
As a player with limited knowledge of the class, I use a lot of guides/videos to grab information and try to replicate it and if I am feeling froggy, I make a few adjustments for myself.
That said, I definitely feel that the issue they need to address is not the damage itself, but the survivability, as a Melee class we need to be in the middle of Combat.
We don’t have a Stealth like a Rogue(Unless you play NE and can Meld?) that are get out of jail cards, sure we can transport ourselves out of a fight and back in, but trying to heal is painful when most classes keep gap closing like crazy.
We don’t have the bleeds that some other classes do, I mean Karma is just laughable at this point, so doing damage and running away until we can do damage again, means our downtime surpasses our up-time in terms of performance.
I don’t need an Arcane Mage 1-shot combo, what I do need is the ability to apply pressure through damage and CCs while being able to survive at a decent pace. If I could drop darkness or blur like a DH with leech, well…I may be asking for too much there.
But some kind of defensives with sustains and being able to help control the fight instead of some 1-shot combo I would be very happy.
exactly, I never have liked the iteration of elephant strength for WW but being basically wet tissue paper when it comes to defense.
Doesn’t feel very master martial artist to basically sucker punch someone and run away.
I think 2 things that would go a long way for us would be to give us the MW teleport in stun and fist of fury stun back
Well, my friend, I don’t understand why they want to nerf karma, Paladin with boop, divine shield. lay on hands in arenas now, reduction of the Abstinence penalty. Warlocks Affliction playing 3 dots and killing the whole team, mage frost with 700 different types of roots, two blocks, druid feral melting everyone. And they go there and want me to nerf the monk’s karma that is holding back the class’s survival a bit. which is garbage after the nerfs to healing. Sometimes I think they hire random people to take care of the game’s balance. IT’S NOT POSSIBLE!!
