Do Melee Healing Mistweaver Monks ever use a 1 hander weapon and a off hand and still be effective? Cause i got Big Earner’s Bludgeon Hero weapon and figure with a crafted gilded off hand I can be effective. But I’ve always used a two handed staff. I need some input. Does using a weapon and off hand hinder a fist weaving mistweaver in healing?
There’s no functional difference between a 2hander and a 1h+offhand for mistweaver unless you’re melee auto attacking.
There’s like a 0.001% difference in skill damage too.
There isn’t, unless your intellect values are 0.001% different.
Granted, I tested between PvP weapons, but the values iirc were identical.
Then the difference in skill damage on average is 0%.

If you get a big one hand or off hand, you should craft the other hand - crafting a two hander takes 2 crests, crafting a one hander takes one. So you can craft a different piece and have two embellishments ahead of people recrafting their 2h if you get a good drop. That’s the advantage of one handers over two handers early in the season. Of course, if you get a great 2H then you stick with that. There’s no better or worse, it’s all about that drops you get it.
