Why is this ranged and why are mistweavers able to have it? Is this not the most broken thing ever?

Yeah I’m raging a little but it makes zero sense to me that anyone, least of all a healer should be able to disarm me from 20 yards away.

I just hate monks. I lose probably 9/10 times I get matched against one. The only class I have an issue with honestly.

It’s annoying but have you tried the DN conduit? Barely notice disarms with it on

Yeah I’m all about diversity but a ranged disarm just seems so broken to me.

My favorite part about Monk disarm is it is called grapple. That implies they’re physically grabbing it.

But it’s a 20 yard ranged attack that has zero counter play. You can’t parry, dodge, block, resist, or reflect it.

Good design blizzard.

The definition of grapple can mean 2 things close up melee or “an act of grappling. An instrument for seizing hold of something; a grappling hook.”

And the description for the ‘Grapple Weapon’ talent says, “You fire off a rope spear, grapple the target’s weapon and shield, returning them to you for 6sec.”

So it makes sense it’s ranged. Although I would like an animation for that to happen, because when you use grapple weapon nothing is fired out visually at the enemy like it describes, blizz being lazy with monk animations.

I agree, the screen should just go black but I should be free to push buttons.

Oh.

Does it at least give you the visual that you stole it? I could’ve sworn you held the grappled weapon back when you gave you a damage buff on disarm.
