Touch of Death should not be included in any form. I’m not using it on a low priority target, it won’t continue the highlights until it’s off cooldown, fix it.
For WW, it breaks the free spinning crane kick glow, or account for it in the rotation. Nor does it display the assist for Whirling Dragon Kick 90% of the time. Sometimes, if not spec’d into the talent that makes TOD useable at 15% HP, it still says to use TOD even though you cannot.
For BW, it doesn’t include Weapons of Order, it should.
I don’t play MW, but I assume TOD has the same issue.
EDIT: Found a partial solution, put TOD on a macro with another spell, use a modify macro like /cast [mod:alt] Touch of Death; Tiger Palm
Essentially it won’t see the spell on your bar, and won’t highlight it until it is visible. Continuing the rotation until you’re targeting that high priority target and ready to bash his face in.
However…… it doesn’t let you see the CD while hidden, only downside.
