For world pvp, I have an idea. What if we could list bodyguard services on the auction house with descriptions of what we plan to help with? Basically the way it works is that you add a listing to the auction house and you charge x amount of money to help protect someone while questing in Warmode. And you can charge someone an hourly gold amount to help them. And like with any other trading situation if you pay money to someone and they don’t do what they said they would do then you can report it as a scam. Which is why people listing their services need to be very clear about what they will and won’t do. You could also have something like this for questing though it tends to be fairly easy to get help for questing as it is now.
What would people be willing to pay for this? Having a bodyguard in war mode could be nice. But why not just turn war mode off rather than pay even 10k gold (1 US dollar) for an hour of this?
You also get the benefit of finishing quests faster and feeling important. Like a king with guards wandering around the world.
I mean, people buy heroic raid boosts, people be crazy
At least they get something out of that though. This is just paying for some guy to follow you around.
It is an interesting idea. Is it that they would like barrage 360 the whole quest zone once you pick up a quest or something? Or is it exclusively that they would kill someone who tried to gank you?
True, just feel like the game is easy enough for most to achieve AOTC without needing to swipe. Perhaps im wrong tho xD
It would depend on the details stated in the bodyguards listing. Like someone could say they want they will attack anyone nearby, but only if they attack you or you could hire someone to follow you around and do world pvp(though at max level its not that hard to find someone to do this). Finding someone to quest with you and protect you as you level harder.

I am not entirely sure. Its hard to say how much one could make from this, but it would quickly become apparent over time as the market settled.
