Monel-hardened stirrups question

A bit of a confession.

I like trading. I found out early in BFA that the Monel-hardened stirrup will sell for more than its ore value. Buying ore, crafting and selling the stirrup has been something I’ve done heavily.

More cautiously at first, soon I found myself buying 100k+ ore, crafting at times 1k+ stirrups etc.

I didn’t ask any questions, but I think it’s time…Now after two years I have to know…I HAVE TO know…who’s buying these? and what are they used for? Whom have I been selling tens of thousands of these and where did they go? Did i make the world better or worse?

Before they added mount equipment I used them with my water strider to farm Riverbud in areas with deeper water.

Ore and Herb farms mostly I know I bought a few stacks for my Alliance when the Bee mount was added

They’re probably still useful for mining and for those herbalist without PF2 and Sky Golem.

Yep my miners use them. My herbalists are all druids so not needed.
