If I’m always holding my fel rush to make sure i have a charge for inertia or if I’m playing momentum, I’m literally using all of my mobility for dps and not survivability! At that point, we really aren’t more mobile then any other class because we can’t use our mobility for anything but dps at this point! How is this fun when the one thing that your class has an advantage really isn’t an advantage because it’s only used as a dps CD!? So in order to give a class good mobility, you have to really negate it by making it part of the dps rotation! Just boggles my mind!
fel rush has a 10 second cd btw. your once again inting yourself for 0 reason

Honestly, they need to do an in game survey and if over 51% of the player base likes the playstyle, then we would know, but there’s too many people who dislike how it removed what made the class so fun in raid!
literally the best simming build rn now is no movement shattered destiny. by a solid margin. legit just play that
Momentum and Inertia are what you get when you order Blade Dance from Wish.
If they want Momentum/Inertia to be a thing then they need to pivot that buff to Blade Dance and stop forcing us to move 20 linear meters every few seconds just to pull competent numbers.
Inertia is fun
Honestly just let two (or more?)viable playstyles exist. Otherwise just delete half the talent tree and call havoc “zippity zip zoom zoom I dont know what im doing but my movement buffs are carrying my dps lol”
Not really a thing that plagues havoc players only either. Frost DKs finally got told that -maybe- the spec will get a more viable option to breath of sindragosa and the tree wont be entirely centered around it gimping every other ability in the tree.
I can imagine someone going to a class dev at blizzard giving feedback or alternate playstyles to a specific class and the dev starts jumping and stomping their feet screaming “NO THEY PLAY IT MY WAY OR THEY SUCK AND DONT PLAY IT AT ALL!!!” purposely undertuning talents that offer other gameplay.
I will add if you guys hate the movement stuff so much just keep pushing against it, it worked for mages with rune of power, and for monks with fail line stomp(for the most part). For those that like it, that’s completely fine, it can co-exist with talents that don’t force the playstyle I’m sure.
Movement & non-Movement builds both exist and are viable.
Completely untrue about Breath “gimping” the tree but a great analogy since Frost DKs that don’t play Breath incorrectly believe they’re not doing well because of Breath existing, just like non-Movement Havocs & Momentum/Intertia.
It would be nice if there was a way to reduce fel rush range like how monks can choose between chi torpedo and roll. Trying to play mobility dh is interesting but having to re angle yourself so your cut leaves you in melee / doesn’t cause a huge delay with felblade just feels tedious when you’re playing with small hitboxes / constant ground clutter.
I think momentum would work fine if fel rush granted stacks of a buff and when you cast felblade the stacks were unleashed. So for example if you fel rush twice your next fel blade grants 10 seconds of momentum.
