Molten Front - Aggresive Growth Questin Cannot be completed
Planting works, tentacles spawn, Quest progress credit is not awarded.
Cannot progress with Molten Front Quests and locked out of extra quests as we cannot turn this is.

Same issue for me.
Quest will not update no matter how many times I click dirt piles.

Having the same issue on my death knight, if that matters. I saw other people who seem to be completing the quest.

having same issue on both my mage and druid , only difference u click dirt pile and nothing happens

For some reason, I’m not even getting the Smothervine to spawn.

yeah i’m getting the same on 3 different toons an 2 different servers , no vine spawns altho sometimes the vine spawns in a different spot but no credit

I was able to complete this quest by self buffing the instant i clicked on the vine.
In my case, as a Warlock i self casted underwater breathing essentially in the same global that i click on the ash pile.
A Druid who was also having the same problem tried self casting MoTW and reported that it worked for them.
Hope that helps you guys.
TL:DR for anyone else, try self buffing while clicking on ash piles.

No warrior self buffs have been successful so far
EDIT: Using a bandage at the same time as clicking an ash pile worked.

Getting the same issue on both my characters.
This issue occurred when the Dragon Soul Patch dropped. Can this be fixed? As I’m unable to complete the Dailies there.
Wow! Self-buffing works (why?). As a BM hunter, I tried Aspect of the Hawk and it did not work, but Spirit Mend from my spirit beast pet did work. I completed the quest. Spirit Mend has a 30 sec cooldown though.
Two days in a row this problem has persisted. If Blizz can remove it from the daily rotation until they figure out what is wrong with it that would be great because it currently means you’re locked out of half the molten front dailies.
Have tried completing this daily on every class with no avail. Disabling addons has also not been helpful.
This solution has not been effective for me. Tried MOTW and numerous other druid spells (as well as several other classes, paladin / warrior / mage / hunter) in various permutations of clicking just before / just after / as simultaneously as possible and have not been able to reproduce this result.
I’m having the same issue. Can’t complete the quest.

Try targeting yourself before you click.
If that doesn’t work use an embersilk bandage wait for a few ticks then click the pile while channeling. After the first one, make sure you are targeted and they should all work.
Just did this twice on 2 toons.
As of a hotfix that went live to all realms at 12:31 p.m. PST, interacting with the Ash Piles should now give credit for “Aggressive Growth”.
