Molten Core

MC is early phase content and many people still need items out of it

Rework drops like to maybe have each boss have a chance on a xtra roll that drops one of the T2 legs

Reduce the lockout time to 5days like ZG so people can run it 2x a week

Have some of the drops that only drop from one boss ( not bindings ) drop on more bosses

Warriors a very gear dependent an need that onslaught , healers need cauterizing band or wild growth spaulders and all Mdps would find band of accuria somewhere on their bis list, its almost P6 and people still need P1 gear people are going to finish classic before even have near bis gear, I have raided for over a year and only seen all these items listed above almost a hand full of times

Besides a couple of minmaxxy bis, and thunderfury, there’s just as good/better gear from other raids. When Naxx comes out pretty sure almost no classes have bis out of MC.

Increasing the drop rate isn’t going to help when only 5 people in your guild still want to run MC for gear.

If you are having trouble filling MC raids because no one in your guild wants to do it anymore, consider teaming up with another guild. That’s what we did. People don’t really want to do three raids a week and most are done after AQ and BWL.

In fact, demand for MC has been so low that between both guilds and their 40 man raid teams, we get a combined total of maybe 30-35 on average to show up for MC, we managed to clear it with only like 25 one week. It was a little slower, and it was the first time I’ve seen a two phase rag kill in a long time, but there were no wipes. We use a soft reserve loot system and it works pretty well to get people those last remaining items they need.

I will say though, onslaught girdle is the one item that is still ridiculously contested. We always have at least 3 people reserve it lol so that one’s tricky…

I wouldn’t mind just upping the drops per boss by 1. Even if it was just a few bosses.

I love going to gdkp runs and seeing only Druid/Warlock tier.

If they made it easier to acquire top-end gear from early phase content, it would give comparatively well-equipped players little incentive to revisit these raids, thus making it harder for new players to get started.

thunderfury inflation!

Leave it alone. I am sure your character can perform just fine still without that 1 or 2 peices of loot you still need. Will make it more meaningful when you get it if it isn’t welfared to the whole wow population

Lots of different players/guilds on my smaller west-coast server run MC PuGs every week, & even BWL PuGs to a lesser extent. It’s easier to run this content here (on all 4 of my 60’s each week) than it was on the larger east coast server that I was on, which rarely had people raiding outside of their very selective/exclusionary guild raid teams.

i put in () not bindings

So what if it’s phase 1 content. Guilds will still be running earlier content like BWL well into phase 6, the fact that earlier raid tiers can’t just be completely abandoned altogether is one of the best parts of classic.

Warlocks will still want ToEP, paladins will still want wild growth, warriors and paladins will still want onslaught, everyone will still want thunderfury, ret pallies and anyone that likes RP will still want the eye of sulfuras. There’s a lot of gear that is still BiS.

That being said #nochanges

Molten Core is for gearing alts mainly.

I feel like, legendaries aside, if you’ve been running MC every week for almost a year now you should have every drop you could want from there.

If you’re in a guild that runs 20+ warriors and you’re not split raiding of course you still need osg. Half your raid needs the darn thing!
