Molten Core

There are several guilds wiping and struggling to achieve server first Ragnaros right now. This just goes to show that MC isn’t so easy when you have 40 people that haven’t practiced on a private server for the last 10 years. Yes, the mechanics are much more simple than the raids of today, but do you know how hard it is to coordinate with 40 people?

Very nice!

Classic forums are that way!

It’s hard to coordinate with people. Period.

The difference between 20 and 40 can be marginal due to diminishing returns on the complexity of assignments.

Having led raids back in vanilla and in current content - I would say that the only hard thing about a 40 man raid is maintaining a ROSTER of enough people, not necessarily a greater difficulty in coordinating one.

I’m not aware of any rule that states the general discussion can’t pertain to any form of WoW.

That being said, I will say I can’t really blame you given the countless amounts of ‘CLASSICS HARD LUL’ or ‘U guise don’t know anything’ threads pertaining to classic since some unknown EU group cleared Rag and Ony week 1. Definitely old.

Though, I can say that it’d understandable why they cleared so fast, as they were indeed people that practiced on private servers and know the ins and outs. And, the average player currently has way more knowledge to make Classic feel much easier than before, when no one knew what the heck was going on… :woman_shrugging: However, this is solely my opinion.

no no no, it just goes to show they didnt play it back in the day and thought they could run and kill…when they brought this back for the anniversary it was just as hard as it was back in the day, you just have to go slow and learn what to pull and how to pull it. when i did it for the anniversary my group didnt wipe once but took us a couple of hours from taking our time like your met to do.

The game has been open for a week. I would worry if average, non practiced people, had killed it by now. They leveled to 55-60 and have the ability to kill it in a week. Compared to current, yes, it is easy.

Server First Ragnaros.

14 years later.

Is this a pretend kid’s tea party?

wait until people do FTH or FTA

That distinction was mad when classic got their own sub forum dedicated to it’s discussion, making it the appropriate spot for classic threads. It’s not hard to figure out.

Classic wow is it’s own product and separate from wow.

Can we make it so if anyone posts a topic about Classic in the Retail General Forum they get electrocuted through the keyboard, and then get a 7 day ban?

Its simply a gear and resistance check. Your own post points out the mechanics are easy.

You made the exact opposite point you were trying for.

Right the point still stands this clearly states community general discussion, there’s no rule pertaining to such a thing can’t be made in the community general discussion.

And my statement below also still stands

If people want to talk as a community about WoW in general, there’s really no issue to me. If people want to solely talk about an issue they have with classic then sure, go put it in classic. But, by all means they can still wish to talk as a community.
