Moira appearance in War Within

She’s the leader of the dark iron but looks like a normal dwarf? lol. Wasn’t she a dark iron dwarf appearance before that?

Because she’s a Bronzebeard. Not a Dark Iron. No, she’s never looked like a Dark Iron.

Thanks for clearing that up. I wasn’t sure about her appearance.
Still though…shouldn’t the leader be a Dark Iron? I mean it feels to me like if a white person was chosen to be the representative of a minority…not a good feel. :frowning:

She married into it, I’m pretty sure.

Her son, not her, is the heir to the Dark Iron throne.

He gets a new model in TWW.

Exactly this.

Moira BRONZEBEARD is the niece of Muradin and Brann Bronzebeard and the daughter of Magni Bronzebeard, kidnapped by the Dark Iron Dwarves but then married Dagran Thaurissan to become the Queen of the DARK IRON Dwarves. She’s a Dark Iron in name, not by blood.

Never.

I don’t have enough facepalms for this statement.

Edited, thanks to Floydfunk.

Niece. Muridan and Brann are Magni’s brothers.

I had hoped Moira and Thaurisan’s son would be cooler. The Dark Irons are badass, and he should represent that.

Well, so much for this.

The Blackrock Depths story line and dungeon explains this… It was a long time ago though.

I love that upon seeing him the community’s collective response was “That’s a boy who’s had his head flushed in the toilet a few times.”

Bah, I forgot it’s three brothers not two brothers and a sister.

I don’t have enough either for my response to you totally not getting it. How can she represent them if she’ not a Dark Iron? Just like how can you represent a specific group if you’re not a member of that group? Married into it isn’t good enough.

I know! I love it. He’s such an awkward teenager. :joy:

the idea at the time was to begin to replace the leaders of major factions with female leaders, color was irrelevant. sylvannas was an elf, leading the horde. on draenor, the draenei mantle passed to yrel, who has both draenei and orcs under her command, albeit not always willingly. callia is being gingerly squeezed into forsaken leader. alleria is leader of void elves. Veressa is leader of the siver covenant. talanji is leader of the zandalari

Peacecraft.
