The BOOMBAs on Mogul Razdunk do not display a swirlie where their rockets will land. The swirlie appears once the actual damage has gone off (You are dead now). I figured I’d make a thread and at least try to communicate the issue, given Blizzard’s refusal to play their own game.
The swirlies give a VERY short indicator, which is longer the further the location from the robot.
The actual indicator is looking where the robots move to and not playing in the lines they’re facing. That’s what you’re supposed to use to avoid getting hit by them.
We aren’t here for solutions and counterplay tips silly. Let’s fix this stinkin broken game!
I never understood the obsession with the “safe spot” honestly, as I’ve seen more people get themselves killed not paying attention while standing in it than just handling the mechanic normally. Ranged DPS wouldn’t lose that much extra plant time considering they already have to adjust for the gatling.
The danger is the gattling and missile overlap. I’ve heard of a second safe spot you’re supposed to alternate, but I can’t make it work- it’s smaller, and I get caught when moving between the two- the gattling rotation is too fast. I’ve tried asking tanks to play the room, but they all refuse. So I’ve just resorted to saving Ulties and Pain Suppress for myself.
The safe spot sucks in most groups because tanks think they are supposed to stack on the group, making it the most unsafe spot possible during p2.
Just look where the boombas are facing and don’t stand there.
