Last I’ve read is that the original maker dropped it because they moved on from WoW. Has someone picked it up again? I really loved that mod and it’s features. But especially with Remix messing with seemingly all mogging addons, I feel ‘naked’ playing without any of those.
nope. mogit is basically dead.
Somebody does minor updates every now and then but yeah it’s basically a broken mod that kind of works.
And for some people it’s causing major issues in MoP Remix (I’m one) so I just uninstalled it all together.
Mogit and BetterWardrobe both make me unable to load into Remix.

The addon Transmog Outfits that extends the in-transmog interface sort of works in remix, but I have to reload ui a lot to get it to load or display properly.
Same that’s why I just got rid of it for now.
I miss mogit. The ui was much better than the blizzard transmog ui. They also had an extension that let you preview all item sets, not just tier sets and cosmetic sets.

I think I have too many outfits saved in some of my mogit profiles. It gets very broken.
Agreed. I wish I knew more about this stuff so I could create a mod like MogIt or take it over.
Mogit is legit the only addon I’d consider paying for, if that was allowed by Bliz.

I wonder… would we be allowed to crowdfund a developer to pickup and maintain Mogit, but have them release the addon for free for everyone?
We probably aren’t supposed to but a lot of things happen that aren’t supposed to happen. I’d help pay for that.

The rules clearly state an addon can’t be paid for to use, not to make. Expecting a developer to work on it for free seems rather selfish.
Where did the developer say they dropped it?
I miss MogIt, had so many outfits set up back in Mists and WoD.
Damn shame it’s basically dead.
If anyone is still following this thread, MogIt is currently functional again.
